Knexprojects announces a GIGA Ferris Wheel.
It will be 13 feet tall, at least, that's the plan.
Construction will start AFTER Project Partcount and the cleaning of my room...---> I expect to start within a week.

This is the plan for the structure.
The lines will be one blue rod wide.
Total structure will be 13 feet wide and 13 feet long (and 13 feet tall).

The span of the side supports is going to be massive

wouldnt it be easier to have more than 1 supports on the side but less in the size so you

still got the support but in a shorter area of coverage..:D

I'm still thinking about how I'm gonna do the side-supports. First I'll build the mainpart and then I'll build the side-supports, depending on the unused 3D connectors.

I did just that, but all I got was a vague idea of a

hand-crank powering some sort of chain - related mechanism...

I added one diagonal part ^_^
On first picture the vertical part is bended...that's because just one diagonal part is attached.

And that's spam, both of it, here at SSCoasters.

Try and keep the meter running low on it. And that pic was completely off-topic, just

go to Upcoming Models.

Looks as if it has so many long supports going to one

point that they would bend and buckle so perhaps when you have the main wheel and

supports finished does some cross barcing in between the giant suppoorts!

I don't think there will be cross-supports, but side-supports will be made some time.

EDIT: I'll lock the structure to my house :D That means side-supports won't be very important...
