O.K., I recently organized my stuff and I found tons

of Knex and Tubing. So I decided to cancel F-14 to start my newest ride:

Kraken's Revenge. This ride will feature the following:
  • 3-4ft Drop

(I have yet to measure it)
  • Large Loop
  • Immelman
  • Bunny

    Hop
  • Turn into brakes.
So far it is becoming the best coaster I have

built so far. It sat idle as a solitary lift hill support for a while, but now it is nearly

complete with only the turn and station to finish. I might not have pics up for a little

while, but I don't have internet on my personal computer anymore, so I am using

my mom's until I get my D-Link to work.

If you absolutely MUST

have pics, PM me with your E-Mail address and I will send you one.

And,

also, this ride was built to prove that a loop can be built more than half the size of the

drop, and the car still has plenty of extra speed. I was just getting sick of poeple

insisting that a loop has to be small to work. (Ex. My loop is 2.5 feet tall and the drop

is 8 feet)

Wohoo! It is done! Just some minor

adjustments and new scenery and it will be complete!

I am really

excited about this one, the station is looking good and it is the first rollercoaster I have

built that met my expectations. Pics ASAP!

I think there is a 1 1/2 foot distance between the top

of the drop (measuring at almost 4ft) and the loop, and the drop doesn't even

reach the ground fully. I think the pullup ends at about one short gray rod from the

ground. The reason I did that was so I could go straight into a heartline roll and the

half loop, making it an immelman.

I planned to also add brakes, but I have

yet to find any non-magnetic or non-chain brakes that don't have to be reset.. If

anyone can help, PM me ASAP.

I see that you tried to use my technique of putting

tubing on the middle rail?

It usally works better if you put the tubing

through the small hole in the middle of the track.....

But it looks very nice,

but I would put some more supports in, from my perspective, it looks pretty

weak....

Thats one mighty fine

looking coaster, all supports exceptionally well built but im gonna have to agree about

the immelman (it goes in through the half barrel roll first so wouldnt that be considered

a dive loop)
