It seems like that is a problem with many bigger amusement parks, that there is almost always a roller coaster closed.

I was pissed that Riddlers Revenge had a 3 hr wait with only 1 train operation

LOL, I had a walk-on with one cycle wait for the front. Boo-ya!

Well thats good...now one less person will come as often and the park will be less crowded for me. I live 5 minutes away and the park has no big problem that hinders my experience there.

It'd be fine with me if I lived right next to it and could go a lot. Problem is, I live all the way across the country. The ironic thing was that Deja Vu was actually running.

I think this is a pretty good addition. When I went in August, I thought the park was a really good park(Although nothing will beat CP). The only problems were some trains were only running one train. I thought they had a good atmosphere, somewhat cleanliness, and great rides. Dispite the 100* day, I didn't want to leave. I want to go back even more because of this.

i think some of your forget[or dont even know] SFMM isnt going to be under the same management anymore. Both Red Zone and Cedar Fair considered the purchase.

Anyways, there is some new track coming in. Some curves and station pieces.http://americacoaste...5/Pages/pg1.php

Sweet, I love it when coasters go vertical, it's so exciting :)

The colors really do look good, MUCH better than in the videos if you ask me.

I hope you were joking.

YOur right, it is very steep. But if yuo have been to SFMM you know they are quite low on space...I mean, they built Scream! in the Employee Parking lot! You can see the lines on some parts :)

Wow, Thats like El Toro's lift steepness.. Makes for easier evacuations on this type of coaster.

Update 12/15/05
The lift is topped and looking great. There was a media day on Thursday, December 15th in which invitees and media watched the lift finish and were able to walk around the construction site, on the otehr side of the fences. I was supossed to go, yet they were over the limit. Pics are courtesy of RCPro.

I saw a lot of those pics off ACN, and that track is just plain HUGE! A grown construction worker is dwarfed by the thickness of that track!

I like sfmm. It's pretty cool when you reach the park and you're like "OMG LooK at alll da coasters1!!!1!1" When I went in the begining of summer break after dark you could ride Revolution and Ninja over and over again with no line. My sister and her friend even rode it over and over again without even getting out of their seats (I mean like she stayed in the train when it came back to the station and she would just wait for the train to depart again)!

I know what you mean, when I did a winter walkthrough SFSTL, and was able to walk around underneath Batman, I was thinking the same thing. Its not untill you are right up next to the track, trying to wrap your hands around the rails that you realize the massive size and quality that goes into Beemers.

Some of the beemers, like batman, look a lot larger then they are because of the uber-thick track. The key I think with judging how large a coasters track is is to see it in perspective to the people around it.

Goliath's track is HUGE too, it's also the smoothest ride in the park by far.

Perspective is true. I took this one picture which i really think captures the size of the track.

Tatsu Update 1/29/06
Its been a long while since I linked you to the RCPro updates, but in the last two weeks lots of progress has been made. The corkscrew is half finished and the drop is complete...and steep. I just hope they continue on this pace so that the Zero-G Roll will be started within a week.
