On the top right of the pic?

Yes, and on the background on the left.

oh okay, but I love the way you aren't using connectors on your track, cause the constant cross ties look awsome, although in my opinion 3 per flexi rod is the best looking for woodies.

Actually I want to use this roller coaster for a school project by filming certain parts and calculating G-forces etc.
Because I don't want the track to move, I am trying to make it as sturdy as possible; a woodie with crossties everywhere.
If I would use 3 per flexi-rod, it wouldn't work for me.
BTW, there is ONE brown connector in the track, just behind the gears.

With such a nice coaster, it would be cool to see arealistic lift that isn't 45* but 22.5*, because 45* is way to steep for a real wood coaster.
But then agin room would be a huge issue.

I don't think it would be a HUGE issue. He said it is about 4 1/2 feet tall, so if it were at a 22.5* angle, it would only be 9 ft. long. If the coaster was long and not very wide, he could just put it up next to a wall, and it wouldn't take up that much space.

looks like there's a straight part on the pullout.

And maybe you could wait to set python up before starting a new project. Tons easier but whatever. It's just going to be an inconvienience to you.

^It is, with the other track coming in the slighest bend in the track could make it look horrible, but from every other angle i'm sure it's fine.

Nah trust me there is a straight part about 2 inches long. I've been here a lot longer and seen more coasters than you guys. Believe me, there's a straight part.

Ahhh, there's a little straight part of 2 millimeters :( Sniff Sniff

Really, i don't see the spot, i checked the pic 10 times again. And if there is one, it is WAY not 2,5 inches. If it's there, it's only 0,2 inch long.

Its a very hard thing to see, and harder to fix. I think that he should just leave it. He will have a hard time fixing it. Also, I think that it is the angle. Look at where it is. Its right where the two pieces of tubing "cross"(not really, just one goes below the other from the angle).

QAFS, stop being such a butt. There's a straight part of AT LEAST 2 inches and gump is probably not posting a picture because he knows there is, but he doesn't want to admit it.

It actually wont take much time, rollerdude. Just do this:

And gump, don't complain about it being too small. The drop on URGENCY was constantly tinkered with throughout the entire construction phase. This fix will take 2-3 minutes, tops.

I can't really see it, but it looks like there is a rod snapped to those circle connectors. If you add that clip that looks like a claw, it will probably work.

Who cares...really, you guys are getting way too anal over these models. While I'm glad that we have all realized that Knex is not limited to a "toy" and is expandable and customizable beyond the instuction sets received in the kits, it is now going too far. I can see being this anal about the CD sets, they should be smooth due to the ease in placing track. But being anal over something like this, probably due to past grudges, is childish. Have fun trying to use it in the real world...outside of the protection of childhood and into the reality of adulthood.
