This is a little late of when I actually put it on my

site, but better late than never. Also I decided to put it officially and in the right

forum.

These brakes are very piece efficient, easy to make, and work very

well! Please tell me what you guys think about my idea.

Awesome SS brakes!

Hey those are good! How good do they work?

Like, how many seconds does it take for a train to slow down enough to go in to a

station? Or slow enough for a chain to grab...buty fast enough for it to go through the

brakes wihtout getting stuck.

Here ya go sixflagsfreak, I just added a video

demonstration by the tutorial link. It shows the train coming at different speeds and

making the brakes act in different ways to show what it's like, you can add

weight to the brakes too if you really need to hunker down on the thing.

Just don't use white rods to stick up and down, they may slow it down a LOT

more, but they are rediculously troublesome due to the white rods being too tall and

don't lower enouph to clear.

P.S. Not suggested for backwards

braking :D...seriously,

lol.

WOW!! THAT IS

AWESOME!!! Can you make them permanently up so that each

time it goes by it will hit it? Or do you always have to readjust them? THAT IS VERY

COOL!!! :D

I'm not totally sure what you mean, but I will

just explain the opperatioin, maybe that will help. The brakes are always up because

they all are attatched together, and also have weights on them so they are always up,

you pull the handle up to drop the brakes or "release the brakes". Hope

that helped. Hey coasterfreak11, did you see the video ?, wondering so I might be able

to help sixflagsfreak out.

Yes, I saw the video! Very kool! So you

are saying that if you do not have the coaster going backwards then they work with

out me having to change them or anything! If so, I am most likly goint to use

them on my new model :D

Exactly

coasterfreak!, that's the beauty of it! you can also make stations that

have a downward slope(or brakes runs/block brakes) and then you just lift up a handle

releasing the brakes and there she goes. the brakes are up all the time by themselves

unless you lower them.

My model Cliff Hangerhas a station and brake run like it.

Sorry about that you guys, it seems that the servers

of the hosting company for my main page are down. You can try back later for the

video. As for the brakes, that is on a different host. Here's the link

This should work! :D

Just letting you all know my site is back up, so if you

wanna see the deomstration video go ahead.

To try and help sixflagsfreak,

try opening the site in internet explorer and doing the save as target thing on the

"click here" link. If that does'nt work I might just reload the file on

the website.

What went wrong so If I do change something I will

know what to change and what is wrong exactly, they should work. This might be a

dumb question, but did you face the brakes in the right direction, they should be in the

direction of them lowering and moving forward.

No, I mean, the brakes would wobble and shake really weird.

I think I found a

flaw, and I added a picture so you can see parts that keep it from being wobbly and

added refurbished content, just try looking over it again, the picture I added is the small

one, I think that shoudl help you, does this help too, it only goes on direction ?
