A new roller coaster will be built this summer.
It's something huge, something long, something fast and it is called Goliath!

I will probably start construction this weekend.

No specs given yet. :smkng

^^ It's in the Netharlands! This ride isn't really long... the real one is the size of 3 corkscrews ( The COASTERS by Arrow)!

That coaster's by Intamin, and the park was called Six Flags Holland.

I can't wait. It sucks because I am one of the old veterans that doesn't have space to build a tall ride like Olympus or a giant hyper like Nitro.

And please don't compare an Intamin Megacoaster with 3 Arrow Corkscrews.

Btw, who says this'll be a recreation of the Dutch Goliath?

Yeah, I personaly would'nt like to see a reacreation of goliath, as Nitro isn't as... "speacial", as most of us figured it would be.

Construction has started, there are no pics yet though.

The brakes and the station will have (this has actually been built already) a tire-drive system to move the train up to the lifthill (so for the smart-asses: there will be no launch in this coaster ).
The lifthill has reached the 4 feet barrier, nothing special...

Sorry for that, but a tire drive system sounds odd, like it might have a twisted lift.

EDIT- Lol, I was looking on "Who's online" and I saw you (gump) were checking out ' Friction wheels/tire drive' thread, so will this be your idea or zapa's?

^No, a turn into the lift I'm sure. I'm 99% positive he won't have a turning lift.

He never said that it will have a turn to the lift. I think its going to be Goliath at WW. It could also be the Goliath at SFMM, SFOG, LR, and that's it.
