It's been a while, but I started on another coaster. No details yet other than it will have a dual chain lift to reduce tension and weight from the car/chain links and hence bring it up the hill much faster. The lift is about 5'10. Here;s a pic of what I have so far.

Well, it's too tall to be a mine ride (BTW, why don't we ever see any mine rides in the forums?). Spill the beans Ephy, what's it going to be?

Those are the wierdest supports ever! Sorry to say that, but they just look odd. I can't wait to see more though.

I guess its okay, but the supports are different, which I am not saying is a bad thing, but is it like that for a reason.(And I mean th diagonal supports under the drop) Like, are the cars going to go down to the supports, or what?

First drop done. Stands at about 5'10". I'll probably throw in a couple inversions next. Possibly a loop then an immelman into a zero g roll.

A 45 degree connector will be placed on the first chain and pushing the car from the back. By the time the connector goes around the gear and back the car will already be on the second chain going up with the chain dog.

Can't you make a second chaindog at the end of the train? Would be MUCH better. :)
Unfortunately you will probably get a small jerk at the switch.

^Hot melt a track splice at the back of the train. (So it acts like a chain dog.)

I decided to do an immelman after the drop. Here's the half loop. Tell me what you think or any suggestions for a layout. I was thinking zero g roll, dive loop, vert loop, fancy turnaround (sort of like on mantis) into two corks then back to station.

I think it should twist before it goes completly upside down. But other than that it nice.

But pleeeee-ase ephy, turning drop? Mayby somthing like on mantis? Maybe just a 45* kick then a strait drop? Somthing other than strait, it's so boring.

Yeah, you shape your coasters perfectly, but they never very twisty which makes them a little boring. Hopefully you can make this one cool.
