I am entering...this should be pretty fun...The only thing i don't like is the, if your over track ties your out of all contests for the year...I think they if you are over by, say 1-5, you should just be told so they can be removed...People do miscount...

Still I think this will be an awesome and fun contest...Way to be inovative BGT...

Woah! I'll have trouble finishing before the deadline. You should make it like 1 week longer. Alot of members are in construction of a current coaster. I'm taking down Sea Serpent for this contest, and because I wasn't motivated. But i'll be busy this winter. So i'll have to work on this alot.

Yeah, I agree. Do you think you could extend the deadline by a week or two? I don't want to have to rush my contest model after Tropicana Park. Otherwise, this looks to be a very fun contest. There will be many interesting entries...

Errgh! the coaster I am finishing at tihis time, Double Whopper, uses boosters! :sdd oh well. But thanks for this contest benefitting those with limited amounts of sets--I have only one but I have access (borrowing from friends) to 4 sets. It is a genious idea.

^^ Yeah! Exactly. It'd be better to have a nice time building it without worrying about a deadline. I'm just suggesting this to make everything easier for members that are entering (like me).

I have a sneaking suspicion that Staff members will not be allowed to win this contest, as with the MOTY? I hope not, because this sounds like a fun contest to enter. This will be a challenge, but i hope i can enter and be qualified to win, rather than being disqualified....

As for a time extension; I will try to get a gauge in mid December where most people are at, and decide accordingly.

if someone put track in the middle for support, would it count for our overall track footage????

^probably not (but i don't know for sure?) because the max length is 40 feet, adding tube in the middle isn't makeing the the coaster any longer.

I Already have something planned for this, can't wait to start. It's going to be interesting to see what people come with.

wow, this is a really fair contest. it doesn't matter if u have a bigillion pieces, well maybe for supports, but everyone has to use the same length of track and the same # of track ties!!!! YAY FAIRNESS!!!!! also, RCk the saying next 2 ur avatar, is spelled wrong. i think it is supposed to say onride. just a suggestion!
