Anyone hear of the new game Thrillville for the PS2...It just came out today and IMO is really fun...It is a little restricting with what you can do, but it is kind of a mix between Sim Theme Park and RCT3...The way you build coasters is RCTish with the kind or restrictions that Sim Theme Park has...Still, you get to talk to your guests, and play a bunch of minigames...You literally are a person that walks around...Of course this is a terrible time for it to come out, since the Wii and PS3 just came out...Still, if you have a PS2, I recomend it...

Peace:cool:

Hmm, I should check it out sometime. You build flat rides to? Or is basically RCT3 with restrictions?(What you said I guess...)

You do know you can still play it on PS3?

Might get it. How much does it cost?

^The graphics wont be as good. I put Thrillville down on my X-Mas list, both for PS2 and PSP. The graphics look bad, but oh well

I might get it for the XBOX, it depends on if I want to play a console version of RCT3. Of course, the publisher is LucasArts, who made the awesome game Mercinaries.

Out of all of the games to love by LucasArts and you like Mercenaries? Wow.
I'm getting this for the PSP as soon as I have the money. I don't really care if it's great, but to have a portable theme park game is what I want. Especially since the publisher is behind the greats like KOTOR and Armed and Dangerous.

I put on X-mas list for the xbox. I think cool that they made a rollercoaster simulation game for something besides the computer.

I really don't think a game like this should be on a hand-held system, a small screen, and just a few buttons and a d-pad isn't an easy control system. Now, on a system, like the Xbox or PS3, you have your whatever sized TV, an actual controller with control sticks and more buttons, and possibly more graphical power, you have a pretty decent game :)

^Is it like, your mission to try to bug me?

And, fyi, the screen on the PSP is huge compared to any other handheld. It's got two shoulder buttons, an analog nub, d-pad, and the X O [] /\ buttons. It's perfectly capable of handling the game.

You seem to of missed my point about a small screen. You can't compare a hand-held screen to a TV screen. You'd rather play a game on a small some-odd inch screen, than on a somewhat considerably bigger TV screen? For instance, if you got the PSP version, and the PS2 version (playing it on the PS3), which version do you think you'd like more?

By the way, if I wanted to bug you, I'd type in big bold RED letters.
Like this:

PS3 SUCKS!
That bugs you, does it not?

I can say it bugs me at least. I hate the PS3 with a passion, and it still bugs me.

Thrillville for the PSP is actually good. You see, it's so similar to RCT3, which many of us have for the PC already. So if we like the game, why not buy a variation of the game that we can bring with us everywhere? It just makes sense. Have you even played the game yet? Have you played it on the PSP? If you had, you would know that while it is not perfect, it is quite good. Of course, I expect nothing less of someone who thinks "Mercenaries" when they hear "LucasArts".

When I hear LucasArts I think of StarWars in terms of movies, but my M game in terms of games.
Also, as for the TV on the planes, trains and automobiles argument, I was talking in terms of at home playing. Of course you're going to play a hand-held on the road.

And since i have a PS3, i'd rather play the PS3 on my 42 inch LCD and then have my 6.4 inch LCD to go with me. It just makes sense....why invest in a game for the PS2 if i have a PS3?

^^^Let me guess, you dont like the PS3 because....its "unreliable, poorly made, blah blah blah". That's all nonsense.

I made the triangle by doing /\ then underlining it^^^^^^
