Hi guys, I might be getting a Dragon this christmas. I'll have to pay a lot of it myself, since it's rather expensive, but I think it's worth it. :lov

I have a scorpion and 1 thing I don't like about it is that its not as spontaneous as SS. It requires much planning and time.

I find it to be the other way around. The supports for Knex take too much planning for me...so I like to just plop supports in for the CD system and its done.

One more thing, building CC really killed my fingers. Its really sweet once you finish it and it is really quite easy to build launches for.

I will probably first build the original model to find out how everything works. After that I will start on a recreation of... a B&M Inverted.

i think its kinda dumb, it looks cool and realistic, but it rolls through so fast, it runs through the scorpion in like 7 seconds, but i guess with the scale it has to, idk im not getting one just beacuse of that, and i dont really like inverts, thats just my opinon im sure "NO ONE" else agrees and im sure i will be critisized for it

All models run fast through thier course. Because not only is the size of it on the "O" Scale, but everything about it, including speed, its scaled down.

^^^ I agree with you... I don't really like K'nex models that do that either. I try to make mine a realistic speed. Boreal Backwoods is okay, the beginiing would hurt.

Mabey if these sets were $50 I'd buy them...

That's just not gonna happen.

You can always slow down your video's. I prefer models who are going faster, but making the whole ride.

I finally re-soldered my motor at Max's. The polarization was the other way around, causing the lift to go downwards instead of upwards. Now I might just start on a custom CD model after all.

3 Years? I thinks so. The same thing is wrong with my scorpion motor; how did you change it? Switch the wires? I'm glad we have another CD builder. Hopefully...

Yeah, just solder the wires the other way around. Don't even need new solder tin, there's enough on there to re-solder them.
