Hey all! My very first model that im making to

put on the site..Is Xcelerator. Yeah... i know

what you are thinking "great another Xcelerator". But this Xcelerator is

actually going to be completed. I trying my best to make the model as realistic as

possible. Im going to make a loading station out of a shoe box, brakes (the ones that

MMman graciously donated to us), custom cars (if possible), and a rubber-band launch

(yeah i know, but i will try to make a new kind of launch while im making the coaster).

So far i have completed the launch ramp, and the top hat. Those two things took me 3

days to design and create. (thats how much time i have put into this coaster). the

launch looks just like Xcelerator's and im trying my best to make the top hat the

same way (except the supports are very hard to make). well i will have pictures as

soon as i get my computer back from the shop. It is the only computer i have that has

the software i need to upload pics. well L8ter all! hope to get pics up ASAP.

What's funny is that I just finished my

Xeceleratior, althoug I noever told nobody about it. Thje last turn is a liitle messedup, it

goes down istead of up, I'll show yall later.

I can't wait to see pics. I have yet to see a

decent Xcelerator. Although DaSquriel improved his, the pics didn't show the

entire ride.

as soon as my computer is

fixed i'll have pics. I wanna see your Xeceletor pics SS man. It sounds

interesting. Not only do i have pucs off the interenet. i can just look out my window

and see it for myself practically. hehe. i got KBF almost every weekened. + im a

perfectionous so it should end up pretty good in my opinion...(but ill let you say

that)...hope to get pics up in the next few days. l8ter all!

OK i got some pics up. remember i have some stuff to

fix on the top hat. all suggestions and comments appreciated. Enjoy! srry about

The transitions look rough in the pictures. But thats just

becuase of the angle. They are really quite smooth. Last picture.

You could also add a purple rail in the middle of the

top of the top hat for even more strength, good idea with putting flexi and gra rods

through the middle. Just pointing out, if your using my brakes and on a down hill slope,

I suggest not attatching them together and just making sure that each brake sticks up

with resistance, so then it will flow smoothly like a magnetic affect kinda, point is it will

be smoother, if you were to connect them all and especially on a down slope the cars

would be so jerky from all the different forces on the breaks and cars, lol. Course just

do whatever works best too, lol.

The top hat looks good but the transitions need to be

smoothed out more. The towers should be wider apart because the top hat on

Xcelerator starts to slop inward after the 90degree trurns before cresting the top.

OK thanx for all the suggestions. Im putting them into

action as we speak. I'll post some more

pics up later tonight. Until then stick tuned. L8ter all! ok i have been trying to

make the Adjustments you suggested Westside. But they are very hard to make. If i

make the supports wider, it takes the shape out of the track for the top hat. It looks

uuugly. so im going to go with my original plans.

Keep it up! It's looking like it can potentially

become the better Xcel's/model's on the site!
How many set

are you using on this?

^^^im gunna use about 3 total. My third SS is on the way

to my house. Thanx for the complements! Also i think im going to

make the Top Hat a tad bit smaller to make it more poprtional to the launch ramp. also

so i can make the overbanks bigger in the end. If anyone has any tips to

make the coaster look good. Feel free to tell them. I'll try to get pictures up

tonight or tommorow for sure! well L8ter all!

Today my goal is to

make the first Overbanked turn. I have the day off from school. So i think i can

accomplish this goal. L8ter all! well i am still not

satissfied with the Top Hat. So i am going to redo it once more.
