I would say...

First drop on X, front row inside seat
Back spike on Deja Vu, back row
Launch on Xcelerator
"Floaterbank" on Silver Bullet
Batman; The Ride's Zero-G roll + second flatspin
Tatsu's Pretzel loop (its HUGE!)
The brake run on Ghostrider

Some people don't like deja vu, but to be honest it is the first rollercoaster that is consistently able to scare the pants off of me...

This is the "floaterbank", at 0:41 seconds, surprisingly it has quite a bit of airtime:

^I went on Deja Vu for the first time on Thursday, and I was not scared at all. I was more worried about it breaking down before I could ride it. I definetely though it was cool though...

I don't remember too much about El Toro except the massive ejector airtime. I need to ride it again.

^^Also, there's a floater sort of like that on SLC's which I get a bit of airtime on.

Also, on The Great White at Wildwood, if you sit in the back seat, there's airtime at the top of the lifthill because of the long train.
Hydra's JoJo is still awesome, too. Don't forget the 0-G on that, especially in the middle seats with your hands flying in the air.
However, on Talon, I didn't feel airtime on the 0-G. It almost felt like a corkscrew in midair that just didn't fit in. I have no idea why.

I remembered one more. Last row on Cyclops at Mount Olympus. Last drop has some ejector airtime like no other.

^Yes, the jackhammering is an incredibl(y painful) feeling.
The ejector air that lilmikemarin mentioned on El Toro is the best ever. It whips you over Rolling Thunder. Even thought you're stapled, you still feel the best airtime.

I am afraid of heights in that situation. In most rollercoasters I feel perfectly fine, but standups, inverts (w/ vertical parts) and 4Ds (like X) really trigger my acrophobia. Probably due to the more "open" feeling they give...

^I guess you wont like the new boomerang coaster with only lap bars.
And it has a open feeling.

^ouch that looks like those lap bars would hurt. Still, not as bad as the ones they already have.

Although they do look quite painful, its starting to look like we will see looping coasters without OTSR's. Now we just need to get B&M to work on their trains >_>

I hope in the future they won't make up-side down going trains with just a metal bar going across you and then they wouldn't care about how much inversions in the tracks. But it reminds me about how crapper the new k'nex roller coasters are coming along and why they just can't they just make the one's like SS and RR.

Ultramegainsanecrazystupidawesomemaniacalcatastrophically large bump here.

I thought that it would be interesting to bring this back considering a lot has happened in the world of coasters and SSCoasters in the 8 and a half years since the last post was made. For a newer generation of members on this site (or for older ones), I think it might be interesting to see how opinions have changed towards rides in those years and if newer ones make the cut too.

I'll start things off again

- 'that corner' on Nemesis (or most of parts of it really)
- 'the view at the top of the Pepsi Max along Blackpool Beach
- the duelling section on the Smiler when they got the timing right
- Oblivian's drop and tunnel

Silverstar Nemesis Poseidon Air Saw The Swarm Nemesis Inferno Colossus RageThe Smiler Oblivion Shockwave GeForce Apocalypse Detonator Kumali Mumbo Jumbo Atlantica Supersplash Velocity Blue Fire Megacoaster Pepsi Max Big One Wodan

-Top Thrill Dragster Launch (Front row)

-Millennium Force view/drop

-Fury 325's Drop, turnaround, and airtime transitions

-El Toro's drop and Rolling Thunder hill

-Skyrush's first drop

-Maverick's drop and launch

-Sheikra's holding brake and drop

-Beast at night (really the whole thing in this case)

I think that covers the most notable elements I've been on.

Banshee's zero-G roll and inline twist.
RMC Goliath's airtime pop in overbanked turn.

Fury325's lateral airtime floater turn thingy.

Dragster's launch (still everytime, even after many years)

Voyage at night... (here's a hint: It makes The Beast feel like it should be named The Puppy)
