^That thread is supposed to be about Statix. So it is good there is a new thread for the new hundred-bucks model.

Yes, we will be coming out with a new model early new year. We estimate the retail price to be a little over $100. It will be much easier to assemble, yet will have the same track system and realistic trains.

The new kit will come out as soon as we get all the new molded parts complete. I can only speculate on when that will be. We are well on our way, but these things take a lot of time to pull together.
We don't have a firm retail price, but it should be somewhere between $100-$150. It will be easier to build than our current kits. It will be a combination of rigid molded track and our current flex track. The size will be close to the Scorpion, perhaps a little longer, with about the same amount of track. We will also have a station on this model. Height will be 26" tall.

well after thinking about this, You get a $45 car and some flexible track but mostly pre-fabed. Then for $100 more you yet a $75 dollar car with all flexible track. I can't decide to wait and get this and buy a inverted car or buy this and then a hyper train.

No. We will probably post pictures in about 60 days when we have some of the molded parts in place. We may also develop a dive coaster model in conjunction with the new kit since they will share many of the same parts.

^^It might be a Griffon :P

Although, if it has some of the same parts, would they have a similar layout?

No, it would be a different layout.
Also our new kit will have a working station with shoulder harnesses that raise and lower as the train enters and leaves the station. The train will run a cycle, enter the station, stop for 30 seconds, then dispatch. We also have another surprise that will be included in the kit, but that will have to wait until later. Honestly, this kit will set new standards not only for coaster models, but ALL models in general. It really is going to be nice.
