Ok. When was the last time SSC had more than 50 people on the site at the same time? Since we obviously cant break the record with like 379 users (cause only like 100 are active ) why not make an attempt to get 50+ people on at the same time. It would require a lot of planning, but I think it would be awesome to open up to the SSC community in a new way!

I remember BGTKing saying something about the record being people viewing unintentionally through some link or something like that, or maybe something with advertising. I forget the details, but it's not what you'd think it is.

if you have something people want to see... you will get a lot of viewers through digg and google and yahoo and other sites linking... just don't take the server down with you.

The record was set by Google Search Engine spiders indexing the site.

I made my sites record by getting google spiders, yahoo spiders, msn spiders, archive spiders, guests, members, and fake logins I had running. Its very easy to make an accidental most people on stat.
