Wow, I am really surprised. It looked like it would come out a lot worse in the earlier pictures, but it's actually a nice looking loop. Good job on this.

hahah I love the close-ups.

I, too, thought it wouldn't be good in the earlier pictures. But that actually is a good looking loop, good job.

It does look good! But it seems a bit sharp on the top; maybe a white or blue rod would work better?

^It's probably just the angle i tried a white conector longer on my coaster and it looked too fat

Why does everybody think that they need to pack their elements with dozens of crossties and use no flexis? You only need to pack an element with crossties if it twists like a heartline roll or 0-g roll. A corkscrew and loop don't need to be packed. Also, flexi rods just add to the loop's integrity.

Why would you want to waste time doing that when it isn't necessary and sometimes looks ugly? Loops with about four or five crossties have more of a steel look to them than loops with no spaces in between crossties. Oh well, I guess methods are changing, but I'll stick with more traditional methods.

^unless you have a butt load of X ties. then you can pack your hole cosater with them.

Problem is that a lot of new members who do NOT have a butt load of crossties, build coasters packed with crossties.
Personally, I stick to 4 or 5 crossties per flexi-rod.

i only pack in x ties on a heartline roll or something like that.. Gumps right. Just use 4-5 per rod. that will do you good

the only thing i really care about,
is it getting round the most radical (lol) track i can make,
i dont care about packing it with X-ties then i wouldnt be able to make as bigger coasters,
i only ever did the no flexis thing once....
because my loop wasnt working fully, because the Black / Orane connectors were un shaping the track
so i popped out the flexis,
but even that like 4 grey high immelman tutorial Mikecoastermaniac posted, i took half the X-ties off that, flipped in some flexis and it was smoother!!

I hate the orange brown connectors, they are always in the way. I usually don't use them.

Minimoggi, are you serious? I tried that with Nemisis's immelmann and it just made it worst. It may just be me but personally i like not having (many) flexies but not jamming it with x ties at the same time because its easier to form and smooth inversions.

Edit: you can also connect it to supports easier that supporting it right in the middle.

yeah im serious!
i looked at it from many different angles, i had both constructed (my plan was to make a huge loop with a few modifications)
and yeah the non "X-Ties No Flexi" idea worked better, i needed to pull the band back less, i used less band too. (rubber band),
and in fourty odd photos it looked better and smoother too!!
