Here is the reply they gave me:

Greetings from K'NEX! Sorry but

we do not do exchanges like what you were told, unfortunately you were given

incorrect information.

So no one

send their tubing to Knex, cause you won't get anything back...

Maybe they used to but now they don't because

they sell it online now.

Put it on the drop side of the

tower for the Rippin Rocket.

I tried it

and there wasn't enough speed to make the next hill on my model named

Lift-Off. Then after a little while I combined small and big pieces of tubing the right

way so it fit and worked So there were no sections of double tubing and I didn't

have to cut it.

But do they still replace the broken pieces?

^ What do you maen by that? If you're talking

about what I think, then no. They realized that many people cut the track and now

have a bunck of small pieces of track laying around. So they decided to sell SS tubing

on their website. That's the only way you can get it, except in a coaster of

course.

^ Yeah but they have the tools to melt those small

pieces and make new long ones for almost no money.

^ But it still costs them money, and they're a

company, not our best friend. They want to do what makes them money. Before,

there was not a demand for tubing enough, now that there is they sell it. Supply &

demand, sort of...

Here is a pic of how I got around the horrible sin of

cutting the tubing on my Centuar coaster.

^ It's only on the lift, the chain will pull it

through.

I know that he put one piece of track down the

middle of the connector on those little hinge things, but where exactly did he put the

other piece and how did it stay?

The ties have 3 holes that are big

enough to fit the tubing. A small circle in the middle, and two triangular shaped ones

side by side right above the circle hole. I stuck both pieces of tubing through the

triangular ones.
