What Should I Build

what kind of coaster shall I build?
1) No one has made an Intamin fish
hook so that would be interesting and it would be at least 7 feet tall.
2) Iron
Falcon 2 (working title) would be a sequel to my flying coaster Iron Falcon but would
be bigger and longer with more elements unique to flyers.
3) I think an out
& back hyper-coaster wuld be easy but very cool. Mine would feature many
large hills before the turnaround and then a bunch of bunny hills back to the station.
This coaster would probably be at least 15 feet long!
4) I had an idea
to make an impulse/rocket coaster that would have a figure-eight style layout like the
actual infinity symbol. I would use RR booasters to launch the train up two large
tophats/or turnarounds on opposite ends of the coaster. It would be a full curcuit
coaster.
So, what shall it be?

ceilings seen in the pics of your other rides are high, but 15 feet? Or are you venturing
outside for this one? I would love to see a good, high, hyper coaster, a custom rather
than all the MF's going up around here. Nothing against you guys, but the MF is
really hard to pull off accurately, since speed isn't the best with SS trains. And I
haven't seen a good classic hyper yet, that I remember. If anyone has links or
pics of a nice one, please post 'em. But I'm sure you could pull off an
excellent hyper. The fish-hook would be a first, and seems easy enough, but
wouldn't be too exciting. And I love your RR custom, Insanity; still stands as the
coaster with the best looking vertical loop in my opinion. But you could do that well
too. I'm pushing for the hyper, though.

lots of hills. For what I've seen, I haven't heard of a saw a good hyper yet
on the site (no offence to anybody how did make one). It depens on how many sets
you have but if you have a good amount, maybe you should shot for something like
Nitro or Apollo's Chariot. Something like that. But what would blow my mind,
is if you make the supports just like B&M makes theres. For example: make it so
that the shape of the lift hill looks like a giant A. Thats would really get some
popularity. But the choice is yours and yours alone. Good luck-and may the force be
with you.

Westside, do you have

least 15 feet Long not tall. Probably 7 feet tall or taller. A fish hook would be easy,
maybe I can build it later. If you liked the loop on Insanity, wait until you see
Banshee's loop! It is 4in. taller and a lot bigger!
Sicflags,
the supports won't be the A-shape but I am going for a minimalist look on them.
I am sort of planning it out in my head. My basement is really long so I have a long
stretch to build upon.
So far, it looks like it is going to be a hyper!
However, the voting wil continue until Banshee is finished, hopefully at the end of
December!

& back hyper coaster. The rest of you want to see another custom flyer. I am
working on a lyout for the hyper and so far it would feature the frist drop, then 3 large
hills, a turn around and bunny hills back to the station. I can't really tell you if
that would be the final layout because the friction problem with K'NEX, etc.
could cause it to change. If I was to make a flyer, it would be called Steel Falcon.
Please keep voting!

build with k'nex. Good luck. Whatever you build I'm sure it'll be
great.

then a beyond vertical drop. Then, the train would go vertical up a hill and then go
down the hill vertical too. That would be followed by an inverted top hat/overbanked
turn and then bunny hills back with an overbank into the station. How does that
sound?
I am having a lot of trouble deciding. I want to try to make a fish hook
because it would be simple and easy so I could get it up shortly and then tear it down
for a bigger model. However, a really want to do a hyper. A flyer would be the
hardest. Keep voting! Construction should begin on this new coaster about a
week or so after x-mas.

now, once I finish Banshee I will quickly build a fish hook coaster and then tear it
down after a week or so and start on the hyper coaster (unless the votes change).

coaster! However, after I finish Banshee and demolish it, I will be building an
Intamin fish hook before I start this project. I just want to experiment with something
different from the traditional full curcuit coaster. I am already working on the blue
prints for the hyper coaster and so once the fish hook is complete, I can start work on
my hyper coaster immediately.

might make a fish hook later but my next coaster will definately be a hyper coaster.
Check out the new topic for it in Upcoming Models. Thanks for all who
voted!
