[Maverix]

Well i'm back from my Cedar Point trip with my school, which suprisinly not as "contoled" as i thought it would be. O.k. so i had to check in with my teachers between 2-3 but that didn't take to much out of the day.

I started of with Top Thrill Dragster. It was as good as normal but i can never remember that launch after about 20 times of riding it in my life, it's just that good. Then on the way to Maverick, to see if it was open, we saw a walk on ride for Magnum and hopped in line. I was in the second to last row and get tons of air-time on every hill but it would have been a better ride if the hills were smooth and didn't have straight parts. And while riding Magnum i looked over and saw, to my dismay, one of Mavericks trains sitting on the brake run not moving with no-one in the cars. One thing came to mind, IT'S CLOSED:sdd
So after Magnum and seeing Maverick closed we decided to go to Millenium Force. On the way some kids in my group went on the river rapids(this time in the day it wasn't particularly warm) and two things came to my mind, Why? and were just wasting our time. Or so i thought.

Just before they got off i walked over to the exit just in time to catch Maverick testing, YES!

we ran over and got in line, right at the front and they opened Maverick and i only had to wait 5 minutes:)(the line would later get up to 2+ hours) I'm still convinced that Maverick is the best ride at Cedar Point and think it should be voted best ride in the world for 2008, yes it is that good.

So then we checked in with our teacher went to Mantis and saw an hour wait, we had better ways to spend that time. so Millenium Force it is! we waited for an hour and a half then i waited an extra 15 minutes for the front and it was well worth it. It was my first time in the front ( i always thought that the line was to long) and it is way better then any were else there is so much air-time on the second hill it is simply unbelevable.

Then i met up with my friends and we went and rode Raptor, which is still a very good invert. Finnaly then we rode Top Thrill again, as good as always, and closed out with Gemini to end the day.

It may seem like i didn't get a lot done but i was only there from 11:00 to 6:15 so in that time i did preaty good.

Sounds better than my rainy Wednesday Field trip.
TTD was closed most of the day. I knew with my luck the ride would close the second I step foot in line.
But I got 2 rides in for Maverick, First ride of 08 and, first ride ever. Great ride.
2 rides on MF
1 on Raptor
1 on Magnum
1 Mantis
1 Wicked Twister
1 Sky hawk
1 Corkscrew
All in all great day for being rainy.

Nice! I have ridden every roller coaster there at least twice! (I'm a pretty big coaster rider!)
