After this Christmas I am going to make the tallest

sscoaster ever; a 30 foot tall incomplete circuit coaster. It will be pulled backwards up

a 30 foot tall vertical tower. It will drop into many inversions and back up the tower.

Once it is pulled up the tower it will be dropped down the tower, BACKWARDS. The

car will go through the inversions backwards and back to the first tower where the

journey ends.

Yeah. I just got 4 rippin rockets and I have 4 ss

coasters already. Plus I have the ferris wheel, big ball factory, the old coaster, the

training tower, and 700 extra gray rods for ttd. I think I have enough.

Thanks. Maybe I should have said that I was making

the smoothest, tallest, and best supported coaster ever. Then I would be telling the

truth (I hope). If I recall you make "ten minute supports" and your track

isn't the smoothest but that is only what I heard.

Well sir, I pray thee steady hands and a patient heart

and will. It broke my heart to hear you say you weren't going to finish your

Deja-Vu recreation (the best from what construction you had done). May you be in

the hands of revolution my friend.

Well, squriel, you are known for trying to crank out

models in less than a day, and most of the times, the supports never could hold up the

track in real-life......

The key to making great coasters like CoasterGuys,

MMan, SSCoaster, and others is TIME, just take your time to plan, deisgn, build, and

test your coasters, and they will turn out great both physically and asthetically....

I have two ideas to keep my tower up but I feel that

only one will work. The one I don't know about is using a 30 foot long sewage

pipe that is 4 inches wide. I could build the tower around the pipe and zip tie it to the

roof. My dad says that the sun will bend the pipe and the tower will fall over. He

suggests making a metal tower (sort of like a roll cage) that is 30 feet tall and the

Knex tower can go around it. This will be stronger but I don't think it will be

cheaper. What do you guys think?

What if you attached bungee cords from your house

around the tower?

My house is aproximately 20 feet high. The tower will

be attached at only one spot and that is on the edge of my roof. That means that the

tower will be 13 feet above the edge of my roof. With the wind my tower would fall

over.

Are you going to start with the under deck

construction first? I was curious because, depending on the weather, I would keep the

towers up for long, a day or two, the get pics and video. I would trust

any of my precious pieces to the wind. And you're building in sections too? You

know, much like modular construction where you pre fabricate the tower sections and

erect them in just a short time (sorry if you do this anyways). But you've got

some excitement running through the site and I too can't wait to check out some

pics. God speed to you brother. ;)

I am going to prefabricate(at least with the tower). The

tower will go up first and then I am going to start under the deck.

I wish you success in your 30+ foot coaster project.

I hope you're not violating any building codes or deed restrictions.
