In real life the launch track is on a small slope. This way the train will roll back to the start of the launch track in case a launch fails. I suggest you to build a flat launch track, though. It's not worth the effort, building a slope of let's say 2 degrees.

If you all ready have it done then leave it. I wouldn't start over just because of it though.

I noticed something on your last photo... you have eight sections, just like TTD.
And it looks incredibly real. Awesome job.

Yeah in real life the launch strip is slanted for the reason Gump said. And if you already have it slanted, leave it, it makes it more realistic anyways :)

Yes, the track is sloped upwards just a little bit. It's actually really neat walking towards the ride entrance right next to the track because there's the illusion that you're walking down hill, because the fence and track aren't parallel.

UPDEATE: well the rain let up but it's like 40* outside :/

I was able to almost finish the launch section today ,ignore the huge bump in the middle of the launch section.

I had to straiten every thing up fast for pictures because I'm having trouble with the launch

this launch system isn't working so well would you guys not like it if I just used the rubber band launch? if all fails.

There's a huge bum.

Edit-There's a huge bump is what I meant to say, and I meant it as a joke. So that was just a typo cause I accidentaly clicked 'post'.

If you use a rubber band launch will it be the kind where the rubber band connects to a tower thing above the track or will it be below the track? IMO, below looks way better.
