When I right click on your current avatar, it says it a .JPEG. Duh;)
My signature is expericing a temporay delay and has therefore seized operation.

^ I went to My Pictures, right clicked on it and clicked "Preview". It shows it moving there, but when I put it on SSC it doesn't move and the one I have now is the GIF one.

Try uploading it to a photobucket album and then uploading it as your avatar using the URL

I've got an idea which might make it smaller but it will switch frames quicker.....i cnt do it right now though
