Well, I've gotten back into RCT2 lately, and have started a pretty good theme park so far. Okay, it's a rip-off of the Build Your Own Six Flags Park scenario, but still something new nonetheless. It's not done yet, so I'll probably continue posting updates about it. Anyway, here's some pics of it so far:
Posted Image
Here's the stuff you'd see in the entrance area.

Posted Image
Just past the entrance area is Rampage, a Stand-Up Twister that boasts 5 inversions and some mild scenery by the station.

Posted Image
Also near the entrance is the Crazy Mansion. This was the most fun to build of the rides so far.

Posted Image
This is the main tower of Spiral Force, a Spiral Lift coaster. I'm honestly quite amazed at how well it turned out--not only is it a good coaster itself, it raised the excitement of the rides around it.

Posted Image
This water ride is Thunder Mountain Splashdown, which boasts one of those massive drops, as you can see.

Posted Image
Here, we have Asp, a massive Invert, with its stats posted.

Posted Image
On one side, a nice, peaceful area with a flower garden (not counting the last bits of Asp). On the other, a very creepy sight.

Posted Image
Here, we have Bald Mountain, a Vertical Drop coaster situated directly in the heart of the unnamed region with all the creepy things. The large gray castle sitting in its shadows is the Haunted Raceway.

Posted Image
More of Bald Mountain, and the green Flying coaster also present there is Flight Of The Ngonigneoth, whose predominant feature is its 8.9 Excitement rating.

Just one final note: I currently don't use custom scenery. I might in the future, though. I figured I should clarify that for you guys so you don't start asking me that while I'm still playing this game. Otherwise, feel free to comment.

My biggest concern is that it's really cluttered, and you don't need that many coasters in a park ether. Try spaceing the rides out more and add some more rides that aren't coasters.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Top 10 Coasters:
1. Intimidator 305 2. Maverick 3. Storm Runner 4. Millennium Force 5. Gatekeeper
6. Diamondback 7. Manta 8. Wild Eagle 9. Thunderhead 10. Apollos Chariot

Yeah, I was planning to make a less cluttered area next. And I'm probably only making about 3 or 4 more coasters and plan to add about another 20-ish non-coaster rides.

Looks good, your building skills remind me of my brother. Lots of great themed coaster, senery, and crossovers. The only thing you need to work on is your realism. Cant wait to see more.

Personally I think the coasters are crappy and unrealistic, and your archy is well short of good. If your going to theme at least space out the rides and spend time on each ride...

Like I said, I'm kinda out of whack with my skills at the moment, and this park doesn't use any custom scenery or trainers whatsoever, so I knew this wasn't going to be some blowout of a park. The realism factor is something I can imagine, too, but the only thing that really looks like it breaks that rule is Bald Mountain and maybe a couple of the hills on Asp.

Sorry to DP/Bring this back, but I just want to say, I'm starting a new park now, considering I got kinda bored with the first. This will have some custom scenery, but I'm probably not using any trainers, because they've screwed my computer up too many times to count.

EDIT: Since nobody's posting here, I'll just edit my post to put in the Screenshots (BTW: I'm still in Scenario Editor):

Right after walking out through the building, the entrance area is built about the same way it was in my last park.

Looks nice, I really like the entrance. The one thing you could add is walls inside the buildings so you cant see inside of them. Like in the 3rd pic add walls next to the path, other than that it looks great.

Thanks, and in the meantime, I've made some headway on the park. It's about 1/5 done and has 3 coasters and about eight non-coasters. Just one question: Why wouldn't you want to see into the building? Anyway, here's some screenshots:
http://www.instructa...5KKFR0ZHZIB.bmp
Scrambler, Double-Deck Carousel, and some scenery. And that thing near the top of the screen is Dante's Peak, a 200-foot-tall Freefall Tower. The roof you see there was initially going to be with the corners facing the sides, but I personally like that somewhat-jagged appearance it has now.

http://www.instructa...IUOFR0ZHZI6.bmp
The Crazy Mansion (saved from my last park) and the Forest Maze (and, of course, some alligator trees).

http://www.instructa...APCFR0ZHZI5.bmp
This may not be the best architecture, but it houses a "restaurant" that serves Chinese food. Also shown are the West End Raceway and Vintage Cars (Different from the last park).

http://www.instructa...L4ZFR0ZHZID.bmp
The Roadhouse Cafe and Jungle Golf.

http://www.instructa...TQ6FR0ZHZIL.bmp
This is the Bushmaster, a wicked Floorless with 5 inversions and E>I>N ratings. As you can see, I also experimented with the supports a bit to make them look more "real."

http://www.instructa...KDMFR0ZHZIK.bmp
And the latest addition to the park--Subduction, a LIM coaster. I was really just messing around here, but the Excitement was almost 7, and the Intensity <10, so I figured I'd just add some scenery and keep it.

That's it for now. Feel free to comment.

Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile, but I've made a bit more headway on the park, and have a few more pics to show:
http://www.instructa...IW8FRD86E04.bmp
Near Subduction, we have a few friendlier rides and, of course, a gift shop.

http://www.instructa...TTFFRD86DZZ.bmp
Between two long, narrow flower gardens, guests get to traverse the distance from the Subduction area to another exciting place...

http://www.instructa...9GCFRD86DZY.bmp
More experimentation with diagonal supports, this time on a massive Stand-Up coaster.

http://www.instructa...OA2FRD86DZX.bmp
The station for Fang, the massive Stand-Up coaster with diagonal supports. If you look closely, you'll see how popular it is.

Sorry for DP, but here's some more screenshots:
http://www.instructa...19HFROA0PUC.bmp
A new Go Karts Track has been opened, called the Southern Raceway (for a pretty good reason :P).

http://www.instructa...AP2FROA0PUN.bmp
Just an overhang I built over the Jumping Fountains (You can still see them, though--don't worry.)

http://www.instructa...5OIFROA0PUM.bmp
The Intermediate Dipper, a small woodie that greets guests and is the gateway to the new area...

http://www.instructa...RS3FROA0PUL.bmp
This is The King's Chariots, a "Wooden Wild Mine Ride" that travels through portcullis doors, huge towers, and then some.

http://www.instructa...9FCFROA0PUK.bmp
The Castle Golf and Knights Of The Round Table Cafe.

http://www.instructa...K0DFROA0PUJ.bmp
The Castle Flume, a log flume where riders get to cool down on intensely hot days.

http://www.instructa...IYEFROA0PUI.bmp
At the end is a small mine area that houses a mine train coaster (I know, it's not connected to the ground). Nothing much else can be said.

http://www.instructa...JBOFROA0PUH.bmp
I had to build this (I might move it later).

I'm still far from done right now, but this is what I have. Feel free to comment.

Sorry for the Triple Post/Bump, but I just got back into playing RCT2, and figured I might as well post the headway I've made over the last couple days:
Posted Image
Monster Trucks ride near the Mine Train coaster.

Posted Image
The station for a massive Woodie built in an otherwise-boring location.

Posted Image
An overview of the massive Woodie--the tallest (185 ft.), fastest (78 mph), and longest (5,000+ ft. of track) at the park so far.

Posted Image
A bit past Fang, a waterpark-like area blooms in all its glory. I tried to make this water slide as realistic as possible, and added water tiles and a pool of water next to the exit station to simulate finishing in the middle of a lake.

Posted Image
Two boat docks, mirrored sans the boats used, with a bridge above for the pedestrians to walk across.

Posted Image
A Rapids ride. Not much else can be said.

Posted Image
And finally, the Waterfront Café, with which I did my best to simulate a real restaurant.

Please comment.

The waterfalls should end in water.
I also noticed your style is very similar to how I build - a lot of random scenery that looks slightly impressive on its own, but really doesn't hold up as a whole park. I first noticed that after looking back on this park. It's something I've been working on recently, and it's a hard habit to break. Basically the scenery should look like it flows more.

Fantom: Good point. I put water by them (forgot to get a pic, though).

Westside7th: I put some trees around the place. Here's some images:
Posted Image
(Yeah, Accelerometer broke down, but a mechanic managed to fix it.)

Posted Image

I knew there was something I had forgotten to add to the park, but I couldn't think of what it was right away. Also, I didn't put any in the waterpark area, because it'd be pretty unsafe if leaves got into the water.

It looks a lot better with the tree and they add to the excitement rating of the coasters if you have them close enough. It's looking good!

^You're right, I added some more around MM2009, and they boosted its Excitement from 8.3 to about 8.6 or so.

More screenshots:
Posted Image
One last Go-Kart track, bigger than either of the others, and an Enterprise to go with. This is the opening feature to an atrium of sorts (It'd be kind of unrealistic to have trees on that particular terrain, though).

Posted Image
I added a monorail for those who are lost and can't make it back to the exit. Also, although the picture doesn't show it, I added an underground pedway to make it easier to walk back if the monorail doesn't "thrill" them enough.

Posted Image
A new roller coaster, the Crazy Corkscrew (name may change later). At 90 feet tall and with five inversions, this is the star of the area with gazillions of glass blocks.

Posted Image
An overview of the entire area.

New path leading somewhere.

Posted Image
Just having some fun building (Although I still kept it because the excitement is 7.8).

Posted Image
The Flaming Phoenix, a massive Flying coaster (just on the other side of the path from the Spiral Coaster before it). I did some more experimenting with those supports I talked about earlier.

Posted Image
The very end of the path greets guests with a very creepy area, featuring a car ride, haunted jail house, and a food court (and one other thing, too).

Posted Image
Talisman is the latest addition to the park. It stands 125 feet tall, reaches 64 mph, has over 3,600 feet of track, travels through six inversions, and has an 8.1 Excitement rating.
