here is my newest coaster. it is going to be a steel woodie (as we all determined chipper was based on it's supports). well, here are the first pics. oh and the lift hill in the back is from my other one.

Your lift is sagging. I think you need to change the blue/metallic rods at the end of the tube support, connected to the lift, to yellow/granite rods. This should make everything proportional.

Edit: Nevermind I'm an idiot.

yea i took chipper apart to build the other one in the background. but i didnt like it so i rebuilt chippers lift hill. i think that it is a really descent hieght that is why i just coppied it over. and the layout is going to be similar to chipper but after the turn is going to be different. here is what i am hoping to do. sorry it is messy, just made it real quick.

Sorry to have to be the downer here, but the proportions are all off.

The crest is nearly the same size as the pull-out! It's ginormous and makes everything look weird man. It looks like you might have even used the same exact crest from Chipper. You have to improvise and redo things, that was one of your first coasters on the site. You have to improve, that's the whole point.

I will give you the smoothness factor. It looks nice man, just make the crest smaller and get some better proportions and you're good.

This is the problem with all the noobs on this site. They post coasters in construction and ask for criticism, but when they receive it, they say that they dont understand and that their coaster doesn't needs fixing. We dont really care about your personal opinion, because you have asked for ours. Yes, your crest is WAY too big, and if you are not willing to fix it, do us all a favor and stop posting.

It still looks big man. If you shorten it by a whole unit it will look better.

And to answer your question, as soon as we feel you have proven yourself as a builder. I still consider many members to be n00bs who have been on for awhile, but have just not really fulfilled their role as a builder. That is my opinion at least.
