On NoLimits Editor, can you make the area (or grid) any bigger? After all, it has no limits.

No, I believe you can't. I think the space given is still acceptable for realistic coasters.

No, the "limits" (lol) can't be changed. In the new version however, NL2.x, there will be more space, the ability to auto-heartline tracks, make multiple tracks in one park, and other really insanely awesome stuff. Too bad it probably won't come out until 2010-11... :(

Oh, the irony of having limits in no limits...

SFGAm, I can't wait for NL2. It's gunna be awesome, but now I can't brag about knowing how to use AHG, because it won't be needed. :(

^Yeah, I never understood AHG, what with all the color-coding the track and such nonsense. I do everything by hand, even heartline rolls. Actually, you'd be surprised how some hand-built heartline rolls look so heartlined...

EDIT: Oh, and Ole even said himself that he's a hand-builder. Yay hand-builders!

No, the boundaries can't be expanded, but if you're having trouble fitting a lifthill, just highlight the entire ride and drag it downward.

What are you talking about? You can already auto heartline tracks in this version. In 2.0, the difference in the heartline is the node will be on the heartline instead of the track for better heartlining, but not auto heartlining.

I just hope they have paths/queues in it.

Alright, just another one. I finished a coaster and now I want to put it on youtube. So, I press num lock, then 0, and it starts recording. But when I stop, where does the video go?

I can't promise you it'll be in the exact same spot on your computer though...

If you have it, try clicking 'Compatibility Files'. That got my videos to show up.

You can choose a spot for them to go to. When you go into the No Limits folder in your hard drive, create a Video folder. Then, after that, click on the icon that says AVI setup in red text and choose where you want your videos to go(the video folder you just created). Then your videos will go there. When you have your raw files, edit them in Movie Maker. When you save them, they will compress a great deal and save you loads of space. Just delete the raw file when you're done. I highly suggest this because raw files are around 3GB in size, where compressed files are more like 10MB max.

*helps even though he already figured it out*

Also, you can download CamStudio. It's a screen-capture program which is free and works great. Some computers/operating systems won't let you save into the Program Files Directory... (I know Windows 7 doesn't)

Alright, so exiting out my Raging Bull recreation (which sucked, badly), this is my first No Limits coaster. Yes, the ending sucks, but I rushed it.

Oh, and Rollerdude, don't be offended by the name. It just inspired me.

For a first, it wasn't bad, but here's some things to watch out for on your next coaster:

1. A B&M shouldn't have a drop out of the station like that.
2. Your predrop was too big, but it did offer a nice bit of air.
3. The layout was short.
4. You need to bank your turns. It was acceptable here because they were wide, but you should really bank your next ride.
5. Use custom supports. They add so much to a ride.
6. The colors were bland.

I agree with everything Rollerdude said except for #1 (I like the creativity). Here's a little tip...

If you right-click on a section of track, a little drop-down menu appears. Two things that will really help you are 'Smooth' and 'Make Straight'. It's pretty self-explanatory. My advice is to play around with NL for a while, and experiment with stuff. You learn a lot about the editor that way.
