What does the seeding matter? The best coaster always comes out on top. It's not basketball where a team can win on any given day...

Also like PKI said. Every single sport's playoffs are high seed verse low seed...

But still, a bad coaster could rank much higher than a really good coaster because of the seeding.
For example, a great coaster could go against an epic coaster, and be done the first round. But a lame coaster could go against an even worse coaster for a few rounds. Then it would rank higher.

There's my little complaint right there...that'll be all.

The point is that the best coaster wins in the end no matter what. Your example just proves that anything other than first place is meaningless.

It sounds cool and all but I don't think it's right ranking members. Some people might get hurt feelings and stuff.

My prediction on a winner is MCM's Apollo's Chariot. I just can't, and won't, vote against it....

I agree with MP, it wouldn't be very nice. It would be encouraging for people who ranked in the top 10 or so, but everyone else might feel 'left out'.

^ Interesting how people will vote for a model just because it's 'the face of SSC', or it's been here a really long time, but AC has only been complete for a couple weeks.
I would have to vote for Backdraft if pitted against any other coaster.
