Well I'm finally back from my trip to San Deigo and it was a great one. I got 9 credits from three different parks, and most of the coasters where a lot better then I thought they'd be. I also went to the San Deigo Zoo and Wild animal park which where really good too, but that's not what you want to here about.

The trip even started off with flying over Cedar Point on the plane.

Day One: Sea World and Belmont Park

The day started off with a trip to Sea World which we spent most of the day at. Journey to Atlantis doesn't open until 12:00 so we went to the Dolphin show which was actually pretty cool. By the end of the show it was still only 10:45 so we went to the shark encounter exhibit which was one of those exhibits where you walk through a glass tunnel and there are sharks around you. It was kind of weird because there was this one shark with huge teeth that was following us through the whole tunnel.

Journey to Atlantis still wasn't open at this point so we went across the park to see the Shamu: Believe show. I must say that I was really surprised by how good the show was. If you go to Sea World, you should try to see this show. What is also good about the show is that everybody goes too it which means that there are no lines anywhere else. So right after it was over we went over to Journey to Atlantis and there was no line. We had to wait for one group of trains go to and then it was our turn. I was actually very surprised by how good this ride was. After the first lift there's an incorrectly banked turn then the first drop into the first water splashdown. The only row that gets wet is the front which I happened to be sitting in. But the wost of the water was yet to come. So after we do some S-turns then enter one of the themed towers where an elevator lift is waiting for us. Yet it is a unique elevator lift. It is the same concept as the one on Pilgrims Plunge. It's actually really neat because it banks a lot. Once we reach the top it's time for the second part of the ride to begin. It's pretty good but way to short, but it gets us a lot wetter. I was soaked on every part of my body, but luckily I wore a bathing suit and sandals, which I strongly recommend you do if you go. We then went to a penguin exhibit and there was a penguin encounter where this guy talked about the penguins and at the end he asked a question and who ever got it right got to go back in the exhibit. And my brother got the question right so we all got to go back in the exhibit and see some penguins up close. Which would have been really good had we not still be soaked from JTA because the room was 22 degrees. Yet cold aside it was still really cool to be so close to penguins.

The rest of the day at Sea World consisted of just looking at different exhibits. I wanted to ride Journey to Atlantis again but the line had gotten over an hour. But we still had Belmont Park to go to.

For anybody that visits Sea World San Deigo you must go to Belmont park as well. It's only 2 miles away from Sea World and has a great woody, Giant Dipper. Belmont park is one of those parks where entry is free and you pay for the rides. Giant Dipper is the parks only coaster but it sure is a great one. It's smooth, as great air-time, and some nice g's. The coaster even made my top ten(for now).

Day's 2&3: Zoo and Wild Animal Park

Day 4: Knotts Berry Farm

This was the best part of the trip by far. I was really concerned that the park would be really crowded because it was a friday but to my surprise there was nobody there. The longest we waited all day was for our food to come.

We started off going strait to Silver Bullet. Which was , in my opinion, is the best ride in the part be far. Even though the ride is large it is very, very intense. The ride starts off with a nice smooth drop, which doesn't pull many g's but after that it is an intense ride the whole way through. And the final helix pulls at least 4 g's. But there also is some air-time on the floater bank and the little turn between the corks.

Then Sierra Sidewinder was next. The biggest disappointment about the ride was how short it was. Other then that it was a great fun ride. Then came Xcelerator. Having been to Cedar Point Xcelerator was just a smaller combo of TTD and MF. Never the less it was still a great ride.

Pony Express was next. Just like Sierra Sidewinder the biggest disappointment was that it was to short. Though the ride was fun none the less, and the way you sit is fun too.

We went to Ghostrider next. Which was a bit of a disappointment. The ride had a little air-time and was pretty slow to start off. But it the second half of the ride made up for the first half.

Then we went to lunch at the T.G.I. Fridays across the street. I strongly recommend that if you go you do this because it's cheaper and the food is a lot better.

After lunch we rode Sliver Bullet again then went to Montezuma's Revenge. Which was a lot better then I expected. With just a lap bar I could totally extend my arms through the loop, which was really cool. We then went to Jaguar which was really rough. It was a lot worse because there is no padding on the seats.

After that we went to the wild west stunt show, which was really good and pretty funny. They even made a Six Flags joke.

"Officer 1:Were going to send you to a place where all hard core criminals deserve to go"
Officer 2" Six Flags?"
Officer 1"Exactly"

We then rode Silver Bullet a 3rd time then rode the log ride. Which was a Cedar Fair ride that actually had good themeing. By this time it was past closing time so on the way out I bought two shirts and the day was over.

Overall Coaster ratings:
Silver Bullet:10/10
Xcelerator:10/10
Giant Dipper:9/10
Ghostrider:9/10
Pony Express:8.5/10
Sierra Sidewinder:8.5/10
Journey to Atlantis:8/10
Montezuma's Revenge:8/10
Jaguar:6/10

From what I've heard, most people say it's forceless and it sucks other than the last helix. I guess that makes you the minority, then?

But I say Great Bear and Kumba suck, and that makes me part of the B&M minority, too.

^Well the helix is a lot intenser then other parts of the ride but I found it to be very intense as a whole. The only parts of the ride you weren't being extremely forced into your seat where, the drop, floater bank, tops of the cobra roll, zero-g and that little hill in between the corks, and of those spots the floater bank and hill between the corks have a little air-time in them.
