Haha this is outrageous. Why would they load the trucks up with the supports and drive the trucks around to the other side of the land clearing? That costs much more money than a fork-lift would.

Mhm, well. There is official documintation of a new roller coaster for 2010. So they could either be moving the supports to another area or another park.

The trucks might be going to Carowinds if they did leave the park. I'll check there boards tomorrow and see if they have said anything about them.



EDIT: Hmmm, what if KD is a halfway mark and they had to stop there and check on the track for some reason.

I'm really confused. Could someone get the right story? So far Rct2123's sounds the most convincing.

Ok, so I read abunch of this last night and this is what I gathered:

1. They are moving the supports to another area of the park to not have to much publicity/ have more space.
2. They are sending them back after being damaged in the recent storms/ to be repainted?
3. They are being sent to Carowinds or CP, although nothing has arrived yet today at either park.


That's pretty much all I can gather.

^Dude, there were pictures of the supports at KD and there are videos of them being loaded back up. Also there have been many conformations of the trucks leaving the park.

If you guys honestly think that they shipped the supports to the wrong park, than you need to walk to your basement, sit down, and just sit there until you fall over and die. There's nothing more absurd than that. The ride is obviously for King's Dominion, otherwise they would've been shipped to a different park in the first place. I doubt companies as big as Intamin or Cedar Fair would screw up with shipping, unless they have some pretty fancy tricks up their sleeves.

You have to remember that with upwards of a $15million price tag, they know exactly what they're doing. What are the chances of them shipping something that expensive and large and obvious to not even the wrong place, but the wrong state as well?

Wow, I think that is Intamin track. The rails look a lot like those of Intamin's. But I am not understanding the double spine, even though there are just 6 pieces of track.

definitley intamin. I just believe its a new track design to handle more forces upon it, because im sure this is a large scale coaster.

To be honest I don't think that it matters that they are the same type of trailer, so what that the trailers, and that they are from the same company, there is only a few companies that deal with that type of trailer.

This made me laugh. After working in the industry. You come to realize there are a lot of things that go wrong. It is entirely possible for something like that to get shipped to the wrong place.

All this drama regarding this coaster is providing me with some good entertainment.

I really hope this is some sort of new Permier track although I have a feeling it is Intamin. I really want a Freeze with more elements or a custom chiller type ride.
