Hey,
I am trying to make a boomerang
coaster like "Mind Eraser" at SFWOA (I think it's there).
But I need a bit of help making the lift hill, are there any tutorials on how to do one
for a reverse incline launch or whatever it's called?
I'll post a
photo later, because I need help with it...

I just made a backwards lift this weekend following
tips from this site.
Its actually pretty easy, you just take a dark-grey connector
and put in in a chain lift piece, facing the right direction, it would grab the end of the
train and pull it up, and release it when the connector goes over the top gear.

OK. Now I have finished the coaster - but with no lift
hill - I'll try that tommorow. But I have a 6 ft drop, then a ~1.5 ft cobra roll - but
it doesn't make it on the way back . What should I do to fix
that? (pics soon)

Add a lift to the other side, so that it will make it back.
Dejavu has lifts on each side, so it would not look that bad, and that is what I did with
my boomerang coaster!

Don't all boomerang coasters have two lifts?
Sea Serpent at Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ has two.

Ya they have one long one for the first drop and a
short one for the second one because it still has some speed go to partly up the incline.
How can you make the second lift if the chain dog won't let go the opposite
direction. It will keep trying to get up the lift hill even when it's at the top.

OK thanks. I'll do 2 lift hills then
ThEoNe: I'll just tape down the "chain dog", and put a rod in the
chain instead?

Actually yeah - if I did that - it would hardly ever be
the right time to catch it.
How did you do the second lift hill?

You have to make the lift right after the loop, so that
part of the train will be on part of the loop so that the train will be partially over the lift
and the train would be stopped ( you may have to use like a 5-6 car train) and then it
will catch on everytime then. Hope ya understand!

Oh I see.
But I might have to cancel the
loop, because I only have 1 set, and I don't think i have enough pieces
I'll do a
bunny hop instead.
