Hey, I was just wondering, is CP getting a new coaster in 2010? I have heard rumors that they're supposed to, but I'm not sure. Have you guys heard anything?

it doesnt say at rcdb: Cedar Point (Sandusky, Ohio 44870 USA)
if it did, it would say something like this(look at the bottom of the "existing coasters" list): Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, California 91355 USA)

You won't find rumors on RCDB. They won't put anything up until there are pics or it has been announced.

There have been rumors that CP signed a contract with Intamin to build 5 new coasters by 2010 (MF, Wicked Twister, TTD, Maverick, _______), but I don't know if that's true.

That's one of the oldest rumors in the books, but I guess it could be true. It just seems like having that little contract does nothing but put them on a timer, which you obviously do not want to do. Would I like to believe that? Yes. I just don't find it very convincing.

The only area CP does lack in is Wooden Coasters. Maybe if that contract is true they could get a Intamin Pre-Fab. Haha EXTREMELY wishful thinking there. For some reason, I think they may be going with an Aquatrax. Just a gut feeling.

Told you...Yesterday I was at Cedar Point, I saw some unusual fencing and boardwalk like path on MF island. It started around Mantis and ended across the entrance from the river boat ride in Camp Snoopy, to bad I didn't have the best view of it as I rode MF in the dark. The path ran parallel to the exit of the 3rd overbank and went under the 2nd hill. This really caught my attention and could be some thing to watch.

While you all set your expectations high it could just be another thrill ride. Set your expectations low. That way they may be exceded.
