Just to inform you, I have given up on Viper and now

am building an Inverted. I'm not gonna try to break any records or anything.

I'm just doin this cuz its different. I don't want it over 5 ft. tall and only

going for 2 inversions to 4. Forget the cage coaster, it wouldn't work.

Do you know what elements will be included? What

kind of drop? It seems people are starting coasters and abandoning them as fast as

they can.

2004 - Centaur | Polar Plunge | Chaos | Nessie | Eclipse | Desert Eagle

^ ^ I agree with westside7th. You should not give up on

coasters, even if you run out of pieces. Just wait until you can get some more and then

see the finished product of a much more elaborate coaster instead of some little 2

inversion invert. I have a massive coaster in my basement that will only be revealed

once it is complete and I've been at it for 2 months since I've been waiting

for a huge box of knex to arrive, and there will be no sign of giving up. But I guess if

you already tore it down there is no hope :(

Hey, im not wasting another 90 bucks for 2 sets. I have

6 why do i need more. Viper needs 8 for the way i'm building it. I could buy an

ss for 45 and another rr for another 45.

Looks good. The station and the drop into the lift

looks just like my invert, Voltage.

Nicely done, but why so many gears on the top? My

invert only had a set in the middle and it worked ok.

Some people prefer to have alot of gears on top so

that the chain doesn't just hang down from the top. It will work with only one

gear at the top put sometimes many more look better.

On Voltge, I didn't use the gear method, I put

some ties up on top and put down some tubing for the chain. It worked very well.

How are you getting the train up the lift? Are

you going to have a connector on the chain push the train up?

your coaster is really coming along well so far, nice job.

about the gears over on top of the lift it doenst really matter how many you have, but

if you have one on top and your lift is big the access slack can come down on the top

of the lift and get caught.

I used that tape thing i saw on AKCS. I taped across

the void where it goes down so it holds up by itself.

I have an Alpengeist drop now, i'm gonna have

a immelman, then a corkscrew around the void area, then have a bunch of other twists

and turns and 2 hills and then a brake run. Inverts lose speed fast according to a lot of

people ive asked who built them.

That's a very tall invert, are you going for a

record? Nice drop, but not similar in anyway to that of alpengeist, because the drop

exectutes a stretched out 270 degree turn and on your coaster it is one of those basic

invert drops. Keep up the good work though ;)

Looks good! ;) The hill is very smooth

and it looks like you have enough supports. It's kind of difficult though because

custom inverted cars add a lot of weight. (well it did on mine anyway.)

I said never mind or something up there, i know wut

alpengeist looks like, the coaster is shorter than my eyesight, and thats at

5'6" about. So its not new or anything.
