Coming in at number four in the Model of the Year competition is Apache by Cardsandcoasters.

This silky smooth coaster reminds me a bit of Millennium Force, a bit by the shape of the lift, and then the perfectly crafted overbanked turns. The ride does seem somewhat rushed, especially since it lacks some of the features most models these days have (ie no station). But nonetheless, it is another impressive model from one of the better younger builders, Cardsandcoasters.

Congrats CAC. This was actually my favorite coaster entered in the contest.

Same here, this was my favorite coaster entered in MOTY. The ending was a tad rushed, but the beginning really blew me away, especially the overbanks. Great job CAC, I'm surprised it didn't place higher.

Honestly, I'm not surprised its only fourth. Everything up to the second overbank had potential to make it the best knex coaster ever, but the ending really killed it.

But when he finishes it for real this fall/winter...I'm jizzing my pants just thinking about it.

I was about to say he should scrap the ending and build something good later.

The ending destroyed it, and TBH i understand how it placed, but it didnt deserve any more than it got. I hate to sound harsh, but cmon guys, two nice overbanks doesnt make the coaster incredible. However, congrats on fourth CAC :)

They were incredibly badass overbanks, though. Like, perfect. The buckle was alright too, and if yuo add a nice ending indtead of what is there now, you got some epic shit. (in a good way)
