Rules are rules. I have successfully made a heartline with a max lat. G's of .7. It took me about 1/2 hour.
However, if it is un-noticeable at 100% speed, then I will allow it.

What if there's one banking transition (like on Maverick) where the lateral G's peak in the red for a split-second (too fast to read even at 25% speed)?


I get a lot of those on my tracks, especially in corkscrews. It's something with the way ctrl + g works and how the track is and things like that. I haven't figured out a way to fix it, so I think it's just a glitch in the simulator.

What? The rules aren't unreasonable. I mean, jeez, there's only a specific height limit, and the G-force limit isn't even that unreasonable for most contests.

The rules are pretty unrealistic. Even I305 has a pretty decent sized hill.

To be honest, I have to agree. These rules really kind of limit your layout and are unrealistic.

You can have your opinions, and if you don't want to participate, I understand. If you could please stop spamming, because I wont change the rules. Sorry if I sound like a mod, but this is getting a little ridiculous.

However, whenever I build my K'nex roller coasters, I barely have any space compared to most models being built.

I think the rules are completely reasonable. This is like the Winter Contest last year; people were complaining about the 5x5x5 limit rule, but that was what made the contest so interesting and challenging. Besides, I305's hill isn't even half the size of the lift.

Intimidator initial height: 305ft.
Intimidator second element height: 150ft.
Ratio: ~2:1

Contest MINIMUM height: 180ft.
Contest maximum element height:75ft.
Ratio: ~2.5:1
