Before in your post you stated the reason for tools not being allowed was that not everybody had tools and/or wanted to download them. 3Ds fall under the same requirements(you need the software, and this costs money unlike tools). Not to say that you should allow tools, but I'd like a better reason after that.

By tools, I meant mostly the track enhancing ones, like AHG. It isn't going to affect any contests, so it'll be fine.

I don't really think that 3d objects would affect the ride very much, other than add special details to certain parts of it. Using track-enhancing tools, on the other hand, would make a huge difference, so it would be unfair to use them.

Get me in,

one question does it have to be a hyper or megalite-ish, I see quite a few differences between those two.

No, it just has to be LIKE an Intamin hyper, I only used Piraten as an example. The main catch is that all other elements, besides the lift, have to be under 22.5 meters high.

What the flying turd? 22.5 is HALF the size of the lift, what do you want? Major Ejector Airtime?!

You mean we need to have ours done by Dec 1, or everyone who is entering needs to tell you by Dec 1?
Maxlaam: It doesn't have to have ejector airtime, just because it's half the size of the lift...look at I305, for example.

What's the point of a hyper without hills?! I think Intimidator305 is a whole new coaster type on its own. It doesn't even look like a hyper.

Btw I'm dropping out. I can save this time for someone who needs my attention more.

I think the rules are completely reasonable. Lift between 180-200, and no other elements above 75 feet. It actually makes it more fun and challenging, IMO.

Then the rules should not be misleading, make an Intimidator kind of ride instead of a vekoma hyper.

How so? If you don't follow the rules, then you aren't in the contest.

Thank you Steel.

Intamin, and how are the rules mis-leading?
Rules:
1. Have a 200 foot tall lift
2. All elements under 75 feet
What's mis-leading about that?

I consider an Intamin Hyper to be like Goliath at Walibi World or Expedition Geforce. Intimidator is a whole lot different.

All G-forces must remain with-in the 'yellow' zone.

What if there's one banking transition (like on Maverick) where the lateral G's peak in the red for a split-second (too fast to read even at 25% speed)?
