NOTE! Ballista is NOT cancelled. I took apart the rosebowl piece of crap thingy and used PKI's advice. The lift is standing safely in my room.

'Tis going to be a mix of a euro-fighter/dive machine/mumbo-jumbo peice of crap.

I have the station, turn to lift, and lift. Now i need some suggestions. My first plan was to do what st33l did on Celsius, but after he did it before me, I don't want to copy him. So can I get some suggestions besides a turning pullout?
Also, the drop is going to be 95-110*.

I looks ok but, is this going to be in the 6x6x6 buildoff? By the way the pull in to lift looks a little weird....

^ Not going to respond to the first question, but yeah the pull-in is supposed to. It is supposed to be tight and it looks very sharp at the top because the flexi and the grey meet there. I'm sure it's a minority.

The roll think looks unbalanced... like its tight in the middle and loose at the top. The end is definitely too small. Make it turn evenly throughout. I think you should base it off of this picture.

That is what it looks like, but it is simply because it is 270*, not 360 *. I hope these pics change your mind. As you can see in the first pic, 2/3rds of the way down it hits 180* and the last third it hits 270*. if the pics don't show it, I'll try to get better ones until you see there is no problem with it.





Also, the supports at the bottom may be blocking your view of the bottom of the twist. the whole roll in my opinion is proportional.

The last pic makes it look sharp at the top of the half loop. Other than that, its good.

I would have to disagree^. I think when you add supports it will be 100%. But so far the shaping looks nice.

The last picture makes the whole thing look bad, we'd be able to tell better if the pictures were in color!

Pullout will be supported. This is just the general shape And so will the CR, the supports aren't final.

well here is a little update, fully supported CR and Drop. Train only makes first part of CR, but I still need to lube/weight/clean axles.

Cancelled for a few Legit reasons:

1: grandparents coming from russia tomorrow and will stay in my room. Need to clear everything away.
2: I weighted,lubed,cleaned the axles, and train still makes it to the same place it made it w/o lube/weight.
3: Although I supported the CR, it still shakes like mad, and I don't want to add tubes as laterals, neither do i want to add more tubing to track for it won't do much.
4: I'm turning Ballista into my winter contest coaster which will, I repeat will amaze all, and won't get cancelled for I have 2 months to work on it. I am a very slow builder

So don't hate on me! Sorry again.....
