Hello, this is my tutorial to make a switchtrack that looks like this:
Posted Image

First, you have to build this:
Posted Image
After that, you've got to make this:
Posted Image
When you've done that, you gotta put the green flexi-rods in theblack pitches, like this:
Posted Image
now you need to put the green rail-connectors on it.
Posted Image
Also, it is smart to put a granite/yellow rod between the 2 green connectors on the spot where the orange connectors are.
Posted Image
After this, you got to put the track-tubes on it, like this.
Posted Image
Don't forget, to put 1 extra green railconnector an the end of the tubes.
Posted Image
After that, you need to connect the part from the second photo to the other part, like this:
Posted Image
Once you did that, build this:
Posted Image
Now build this:
Posted Image
Now put them togetter:
Posted Image
After that, build four of these:
Posted Image
Now put it togetter like this:
Posted Image
Now connect the last structure to the structure from photo 11
Posted Image
After that, try to build this, and connect it on the other side of the structure from photo 11
Posted Image
Posted Image
Now make 3 of these rails:
Posted Image
Put them on the big structure like this:
Posted Image
Posted Image
Then put the structure with the S-rail with the yellow rail on the wheels, like this:
Posted Image
Posted Image

Now you only have to cut the end of the rails untill there is a milimeter between them.

This is how it should look now:
Posted Image

By sliding the middle part of the structure, it will be able to drive the train into the left rail, or the right rail.

Also, if you want to have it motorised, just make a little liftchain under it and let 2 red coqwheeles drive it.

I hope this will help you, and its free to use for your own coasters...

This is really nice. I'm going to design one similar to this for my VV coaster.

Okay,
@RCExtreme, is that possible? There aren't any curved tracks, right?

Some of the newer sets have curved track, but I'll make it using straight track.

Oh, weird. It's just that your original post doesn't have it in there.

Anyways, it still is a great idea. :P I think Dutch people are naturally innovative. lol

So the point of having a switch track is to slide it and it takes you to another track?

It transfers the train into the maintenance bay/storage track to be inspected, etc. Trains on coasters are usually transfered off at the end of an operating day to be inspected over night,
