^Looks nice.
^^I am interested to see how you purpose to transition between the two.

I did a little test yesterday with one car. I built a small piece or track following the launch(for test purposes, it's not that smooth). I set everything up, and the car made it about a granite high, this is not because of friction or that the car weights too much. The turbine is simply not going fast enough. I originally had the motors geared up from a red to a blue, and it jammed on low speed. I removed the gearing and went with direct power. I now beleive the problem was caused by the friction and I would like to try gearing them up again.

Ah, interesting, be warned that there is some amount of friction you have to over come when using one way connectors on the ends, with that guide design.

It wouldn't be much different than any other connector though would it?

It actually is a lot different. The string is stuck between the one way connector and the guide, but when you use a different connector and put the string though a higher hole the string is lifted above the guide allowing much smoother travel.

Ah. But the string will not be tied through the hole on either end of the it. I've already got a solution to that.

^Then how is the string going to be attached to the catch car? There aren't very many ways to attach a string to something.

I've got enough of those end pieces I'm going to try a few things. Glue or tape is last resort.

^I've got a third solution: Melt the two ends together with a torch ;)
