Its Mid-season, with most teams playing 41 games so far. Lets see where the league is at halfway through the season.
Top 5 teams in the league:
Vancouver 28 9 6 62 points
Philadelphia 27 11 5 59 points
Detroit 27 11 5 59 points
Pittsburgh 27 14 4 58 points
Tampa Bay 26 13 5 57 points
Top 5 Scorers:
Sidney Crosby 32G 34A 66P
Steven Stamkos 31G 26A 57P
Daniel Sedin 25G 30A 55P
Henrik Sedin 9G 46A 55P
Martin St Louis 18G 35A 53P
Highlights so Far:
Sidney Crosbys 25 Game points streak.
Vancouver Canucks 17 game unbeaten streak.
Winter classic success, even though pouring rain.
Disappointments so far:
New Jersey Devils and their 120 million dollar man, in Last place with a mere 24 points.
Alexander Ovechkin sitting only 11th in scoring.
At this point, who do you see Coming on strong come playoff time? who do you see falling off the pace?
Who will win the scoring race? Will crosby, despite being out with a concussion, be able to hold on? Or will, Stamkos, or a Sedin brother challenge?
Your thoughts on the season so far.

I don't see San Jose making it this year, too much struggling for a team who's supposed to be up top. And if they do make the playoffs, it's not like they can go past the first round anyway.
I think Stamkos will win goals, but I'm gonna wait and see when Crosby comes back to make a call on points.
About Kovalchuk... Karma!
Oh, and Dustin Byfuglien for Norris Trophy!!!
Stanley Cup Finals Prediction: Tampa vs Vancouver

Hawks finally have settled on a goalie, and seem to be getting things together. Crawford has back to back shutouts, and the Hawks are looking for their fourth win in a row. About freakin' time defending champs.

Still glad that the Ducks made the playoffs at all this year though. I was not expecting it at the start of the year.
