Looking great man! Very nice supporting and track-work! Now speed- I would try to use 'Pledge-Furniture Polish with extra moisturizer' and apply to the track with a paper towel, then use Silicone Spray on the cars for lube. It should work very well!

Thanks! I finally managed to find some... :D

The turning pullout shakes too much.

Yeah. It's a work in progress. It's getting better, but it still shakes. A lot.

Kitty's right. Your supports in your pullout, turn, and pull-in are way too weak, and that is where you are losing your speed. Also, there's no need for a 3.75 grey tall overbank when your lift is barely 4 greys tall.

Thanks. And I shortened it to about 3.5-ish (it's a little tiny bit taller), and it makes it now.

Okay! Update! I shortened the overbank by about .25 of a grey rod, and the train now glides over it with perfect speed! I'm not quite sure how to stop the shaking in the turning pullout. I beefed up the supports some, and used duct tape to secure the supports to the carpet. Unfortunately, it still shakes. Help?

Oh yeah. Pics: :D

Duck taping on a carpet doesn't really help. You could add some small laterals that dig into the carpet though. The only thing really about supporting, is to keep supporting.

One thing I noticed is that on that turning pull-out, your supports are on the inside of the turn, which won't really help support it that much. Try moving your base for the turning pull-out to the outside of the turn. That should help the shaking a ton.

If only I had more space/pieces/time.

The ducttape does so help, but do ad laterals.

It looks pretty good, but from the first picture the curve looks a bit uneven.

It looks great! It could be a little narrower in my opinion, but it's still good as it is.

Oh, the diagonals on the turn and something else.

It looks great as far as I can see and I think your speed will maintain fast throughout it.

Thanks! Correct and correct ;)

Yeah, It makes it with perfect speed. Thanks!

Daan.

Yes. If you mean the diagonals then yes, it adds something like 6(?) additional connections to what I had before. If you mean the overall shape of the overbank, then yes, that's because one side turns into it, and the other side exits going straight. Thanks! And yes it makes it! :)

Looking good! I love the shaping; it's truly awesome!

Wow thanks! That's about all I can say... :D

Thanks for the commnts guys! Next is a buckel (couldn't find the "alt combination" for an umlaut over the u...)
I'm running short on yellows/granites, so I have an idea. I can make shift with whites and ladders for a while, and while I wait to get more yellows/granites, I can build smaller VV coasters on the side! Fun!

Comments on this?

Ok guys, I've lost interest in this. :( So I'm thinking I'm going to give Gamma a "makeover". I'm thinking I'm going to tear down a majority of what I have built right now, make the lift smaller, and come up with a more compact layout (so I'll actually be able to finish it)

Thoughts? Comments?

I'd like to see you keep the lift hill and the turn and get rid of the stuff in between. Put in a nice air hill. Do you have room to make a straight run?

Comet Recreation still underway.

Proof you never grow up if you keep playing with toys!

Hmmmm.....
I'll guess either an elevator lift, or another coaster/chain lift.

I think it's a real lift, at the bottom there's a bit that looks like it's pointing upwards towards the tower..
