This is for the 9-day coaster contest. I have the lift and part of the pre-lift done. Tomorrow I'm going to move it outside so I have more space to build.

I still need to add laterals, but those can wait until later.

Oh yeah, I started building yesterday, so I have until the 24th to finish.

Erm... sir? I think you pre-lift is broken...

What made you come up with that type of prelift? It looks, different. The lift looks great, so please continue!

No, those aren't cancelled, I just haven't really gotten enough work done on them to update.

Today I finished the drop and made the structure for the next element. It's too dark outside to take pictures, so I'll have those tomorrow.

Can't wait. It looks epic and we have 3 coasters being built for the 9 day competition now and another 3 getting ready. I still haven't heard back from RK500...

Update! I got some work done since the last update. I'm going to make the crest of the hill bigger, so don't comment on that.

Oh yeah, I know that the bottom of the pullout is a little flat, and I'll try to fix it.

Nice headchopper, the valley looks a bit weird though.

The crest of the turn-hill thing is a little sharp at the top IMO. Also, like you pointed out, there is a sharp spot on the pullout which can be fixed by rounding the straight-ish pullout more. Please continue, because the structure's path looks great!

Yes, I have another update!

I got the turnaround done, but I still haven't fixed the pullout or the crest of the hill.

To Do List
1. Raise + Enlarge crest of hill
2. Fix pullout
3. Raise center of turnaround (about an inch)
4. Lower end of turnaround
5. Add more support to track connections
6. Add laterals
7. Continue building

Looking good! Work on your To-do list and you'll have a great coaster.

The crest of the lift hill has a pointy top and then a flat spot near the gear, can probably be smoothed out easily.

The valley looks weird because it is too flat. You have lot's of room to go lower, it would look better IMHO.

I like the structure of the turnaround but am not a fan of the dip in the turn. It's shape is nice but it looks odd on a woodie. Again, just my opinion, keep it if you like it.

Love to see more woodies!

edit:

Are those purple rods? Never seen those before!

Comet Recreation still underway.

Thanks everyone. FTGU, I will work on those things, and the dip in the turn is based off of this. Those purple rods are flexis, and I have about 500 of them. I also used flexi blue rods on the inside of the turn.

I haven't done any of the things on the to-do list, it's too dark (and cold) outside, and it's supposed to rain, so I built a station. I'll have pictures of it tomorrow.

Sorry for the late update, but it rained all day yesterday, so I wasn't able to build until this morning. But I fixed most of the things on the to-do list, and I added some more track.

The shaping on the double dip isn't final, I'll fix that later.

By the way, it started raining about 15 minutes ago. :(

This looks very good. Cant wait to see more of it. As of now I dont really see anything wrong, besides maybe a few very minor shaping issues, but It sounds like you'll fix them. Move on.... :)

On the lift's crest, I just noticed this now. There is an enormous bump/straight spot where the red gear is. It would look much better if that was fixed. Also, please fix the double dip's crest! It's still too sharp!

Your dog (picture 2) looks like a boss. Just thought you should know.

The coaster looks pretty good. I'm not a big fan of the prelift dip, but that's not too important.
It looks pretty good so far, but if you want to secure my vote then make the layout a bit more interesting.
