[Dutch Details] Swing Bob - EPIC CRAFT TIME

The stairs and a little fence so people don't run into the ride while moving.
Really like this view
I found some small lights I bought a while ago, you can wear them around your fingers and they emit 3 colours of light, from a single LED. So I pried open the housing and the LED came falling out, they just need 3V to work and the colours will change colour, fade, blink etc. all by themselves. I got around 6 of those so the Swing Bob will ahve some lights too

RGB lights?? Lights are a must for realism, especially after the time spent in ride cycle.

Saw the LED test. That will look great when everything's set up. Like what ickus said, everything looks much cleaner than before, and it adds a touch of realism.
Yep, I was uploading it when I took a shower then I went to get some Sushi for tonight with my GF.
Here is the LED I managed to salvage from those toys:

Before I go to bed, I'd like to show you these pictures from the light towers. There will be 6 light towers on the ride all on the first half of the ride. I will install the Tri-Colour leds somewhere next week. I'm not entirely sure, but maybe I'll slap on a few strobe lights too...
They bend outwards a little like the real deal, it took a while to get a decent angle for the poles that hold up the racks.

The Strobe is much smoother in real life, yeah, the camera only shoots at 25 fps.

The lighting is very effective, and appears realistic.
This small flat ride was been very enjoyable to see start to where it is now.

Very nice.
And wow, that music is a little different than Alestorm and what not.

For a full effect i think you will need to build a tunnel to make it more realistic
Exactly, and so I did! I also added the sign on top (no LED's, needs to be done next Thursday so I don't have the time or money for that.)
Here we go:
Not sure if I will make a "skirt" over the arms of the ride, I think I will get some dark cloth to put over the tunnel though
