Hey guys here is my entry into the custom car contest in Summer Heat. I have the start of the lift hill and am working on building the rest of the custom cars. I hope to have the lift completed by tomorrow.

I'm loving the catwalk! The cars look nice, I hope they aren't too heavy.

So are you going to make that coaster fully with orange tube supports :)? I think your cars look very good, although they will lose a lot of speed.

I hope that train will have a good performance, 'cause it looks too good to be wasted.

Thanks for the comments on the train. It is very sturdy yet not too heavy. I wanted them to look very nice considering that is a major part of the competition. Also, here are some close ups for kid26120:

caution your tube to base connections, your current design will slide downwards.
(your first tube may be ok because you are using the rods with the extra notch there, but your second support by using the long orange rods you do not have that notch to prevent sliding)

Things look great, keep it up.

Hey guys I almost have the lift finished(The crest hasn't been shaped yet). I also finished the cars which soon will be painted, lubed, and weighted. I am trying to update as much as possible because this is my first large tube supported coaster. Here are the pics of what i have so far.

(The Gray support column looks curved but is actually straight due to my cat hitting my tripod and causing the camera to shake)

It looks nice, but I would recommend adding connections from the bottom of the rods of your tubes to the base, because they look like they will slide down. By the way, those cars are really nice!

EDIT: I just noticed that the lift is not straight, so please lower the center or raise the top tube to straighten it out.

The problem in the lift is due to the track slightly sagging. I'll support it some more and see if that will fix the problem.

I just realized you are using the same name as Maarten did for his B&M invert. Now this may end up being another great coaster, so I say: get another name. Just so you clearly distinguish these coasters.
