A little early (or late) but it is that time of year that some people have been waiting for, it is the '9 Day Coaster Buildoff!' The contest is simple. As normal, just start a coaster from scratch and build it in 9 days.

The contest will have a 2 week entry time for people to ask for participation of the 3rd year of this competition. We need 0 more judges to help judge the coasters that have been entered. So that will be 4 judges altogether because I am also a judge. If their is a exceeding amount of contestants, they voting will go publicly to help.

RULES:

. 9 Days to build your coaster
. No height limit
. No width limit
. No length limit
. Allowed recreations
. VV's are allowed
. Allowed Launches and Lifthills
. MUST start a construction thread 'WHEN YOU FINISH THE LIFTHILL OR LAUNCH', so I can measure if you have done 9 days.
. Rides must be in SSC database BEFORE your 9 days runs out
. Allowed to have a partner(s) to help you but still have to build it in 9 days
. Only can enter 1 coaster each person
. Have Fun

Contestants participating CAN NOW build because I have annouced that you can. The gap is more than 1 month and the entry time is throughout all this. So if you want to join, you can! The last day you can start is at the 23rd of March so you will have 9 days till for the final week and a half to build.

If you don't abide by the rules, there will be a disqualification and public notification. The user disqualified will not be able to join back to the contest.

I will be a contestant, as long as it starts fairly soon. I can't wait around too long, maybe 2 days? I have a station already and I'm eager to start on the launch/lift. If this isn't possible for any reason, I'd be happy to judge.

Micro - I will put you as a judge, contest will not start till at least 2 week. Maybe if you can hold out till then, that would be great. Your choice though, I have put you as judge for the time being.

That's it folks, the judges panel with me being the least qualified of them all. I am glad to say that our judges are highly respected builders and have a lot of experience under their belts. They are sure to give out great advice!

I have 2 suggestions. No offence to any of the builders here but I think it would be a more interesting contest if a few older and experienced members built coasters.
Also I would like a Judge spot, considering I compiled all of the reports last year and basically ran some of the contest.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Sorry for this but anyone who has entered for the contest as a builder, you can now start!

The reason being is that I am wanting a few more contestants to participate and if we start now, Jesper can join. Sorry for bending the rules but this is hopefully, for the good of the contest. Read the rules if you want to know the regulation on how to build the coaster. I am messaging all the builders participation at the moment and will do for future contestants as well.

Anyone can still enter, but their will be people building while you are entering. Just say you want to enter on this thread and I will add you to the contestants. You can catch up on what the contestants are up too by looking at my first post.

The deadline to cease all building is at the end of March the 31st, that is more than 1 month! So get cracking and we can't wait to see what this year turn outs are going to be.
