We all have to start somewhere, who was your biggest inspiration to start building?

Mine is Jogumpie, I saw a video of his Python model on youtube and I bought my first SS sets a few weeks later I still remember the days of his website www.knexprojects.nl quite a few dutchies there like Jesperdude, knex-man and a few others who have long been forgotten by quite a few members.

Most of my inspiration came from Westside7th and coastercrazy10. I already had a modified RR built before I found this site, but I saw what was able to be done with these rides and kicked off from there.

Almost everyone actually. But tomisdabomb inspired me to built my first coaster whit SS track. And to build whit VV i was inspired by almost every VV builder.

The one that really started it all for me was Templar. An awesome inverted back then, and I still think it is.

I don't really have one, but if I had to say something it would be Speed o' Fear or one of the gigantic woodies out of dark blue rods that people don't seem to make anymore.

Gump's Python was totally my whole inspiration to me to want to build. I then saw Steel Force's final video and stumbled upon SSC from there, so both of those were an impact on me.

Lets see I opened the internet.....searched "knex roller coasters," clicked on images....and I was absoulutey stunned by the break run of steel force by steelspectrum, so yea steel force.

Hmm, looking at a train running through an awesome circuit inspired me the most I guess . Nowadays I always try to keep the building a challenge, this is the main reason why I like building so much.

As a few people have already said, I saw the best of the best video on youtube and was like "wow!! I need to do this too!!"

I had always built with Knex and tried to make custom coaster but it really started when I saw CC10s Nitro.

I wish I could remember which coaster actually lead me. Builds by Gump, Max, PKI, and Steel, definitely stand out to me. Coaster wise, Celsius was one that really sparked my interest before I joined.

Knexpert06 on youtube. His woodies were beast. But if it weren't for SwimZONE, I would have never really improved. He recommended me to SSCoasters. And gave me some tips. I knew him in real life before SSC.
