Is there a way to not have any breaks in the tubing on a coaster, or can you guys give me some tips on how to get it to be smooth, because I really think cutting the tubing is horribly wrong.

Why, what difference does it make?
A lot if you work with coaster that have to run for hours on end. On the gears it will actually force the chain links into one another so it's less likely to come apart.

^^The easiest way for us to help you is if you start a construction thread of your project, that way we can see what needs to be fixed and how. To start a thread go to the Forums then go to K'NEX Coaster Construction then click the new post button, you can post pictures/videos of your coaster as it is being built and when it is finished you can submit your ride.

Yeah with 1 SS you can't do much. If you have other sets it is useful but I think as a Guideline atleast 2 SS is necessary. Probably 3 though.
I have a parts problem. I have one SS and I want to make a custom coaster. I cant do that with my parts. K'nex could design expension packs for CustomCoaster builders.
