Of course your model can be smaller than the 5 greys wide, 5 greys long and 5 greys tall. But it can, in NO way, be larger in ANY of the three dimensions.Does it have to be a square or could it be a rectangle? Is there a height restriction? Is that 5 greys tall?

What i'm wondering is if you make a base for your coaster and you have tube supports if you're allowed to extend the tube supports down to the bottom of the base without having the base count as a part of the cube.
Example:
The part in the base is still part of a support so it does count as space used within the cube. A good way to compensate this loss is by making your track dive through the base, which makes for very nice tunnels!
