Here is my new roller coaster I'm building. I have not been on SSC much, as you can tell by how many posts I've posted.

It is now completed:

However, It cannot make it through the cobra roll.
Here is the test video:

If any of you have any suggestions that may allow the train to make it through the cobra roll, please tell me.

thanks,

Ahh, I've seen you on youtube. For the pictures, I'd sugest uploadinh them to photo bucket, then when you veiw the picture in your library in the bottom left corner it will say "links to share this photo", copy and paste the IMG code to your post for each picture. This is what I do.

How many coasters have you made before? Also, to help the shaping of your loop, you can always stagger. Ask the other VV members how to describe staggering... I can't. :D

Edit: The pullout of the drop is tiny, make sure to fix that. Looks good overall though!

Thank you for replying. I was able to fix the shape of the loop with a bit of tweaking.
I have made something like 10 other coasters, the latest two being much better than this one. If you want to check them out here is the link to my Youtube channel:

...staggering...

The rods in your spine, have them set up so that none of them stop in the same place. It helps to eliminate pumps and improves the overall strength of your spine.
Where the spine starts, I typically like to start with an orange, black, blue, and purple.

Do what ^, and ^^^ said about the staggering, and I would make the supports bit further from the track, dragging it outwards. I would also try and make the loop bigger as you have a lot of speed through it. That way you will get more height out of the following elements.

I really enjoyed your christmas coaster on your channel! :)

Looks pretty nice so far. The loop is a bit weird and like Zach said the pullout of the drop is very small. Also you're using red rods, the limit this year is 5 grey rods for both VV and SS, just in case you didn't know (you can make the pullout bigger and the loop less weird :D).

Sad that I no longer have 69 internets

I have been able to run a full circuit test now

Here is my new test video:

Yes, I measured it out with grey rods for the limit. My tubes almost breach the boundary, so I don't have an inch to spare :(
As you can see here, the gray rods are laid across the bottom of the loop.

Ok. The roller coaster is done and all that is left is a little theming. I would still love any suggestions on both the theming and the coaster! :D

The same thing happened to me on Freezing Point. Luckily for me, I could take apart the trains and take it out. But it was still annoying as hell. make sure that the snow is not in a position that is too close to the track otherwise it will happen. Looks really good and I like the tunnel!
And PS: you should probably make your signature smaller. It looks to be over the size limit for signatures ;)

Also -
this is my first contest entry, so I was wondering how to submit the roller coaster. And, are props and stuff allowed inside the 5x5x5 area?

Nice work so far! I'm especially liking the theming.

As other members have said, I'd work on the shaping of your loop, with the intention of creating a teardrop shape, as seen on almost all modern looping coasters. Staggering will only work its magic if you connect the spine, remember.
For comparison...

Increase the banking on the last turn and you're onto a winner! :)

Keep going,
