Yes. I tried a couple different presets and none of them work.

I found that if you converted the video file (I used 'freemake video converter') to WMV or something then the picture shows up. That program continues to serve me well. I have pictures and a video to prove it.

The video isn't brilliant quality as it's just straight to WMV but it'll do fine for now. Edit: Hehe. Gotta keep the mouse out of the way next time :D

Hopefully converting it should solve your problems.

I tried converting it to wmv with VSCD and it came out looking like rainbow colored tv static.

Well, Freemake is free to download and use and it generally works well for me with various file type problems. You can convert videos to higher quality types as well. That video there was converted and compressed from 265MB (quicktime media file) to 5MB (WMV) so I could quickly upload it without using up too much of my photobucket space. I'm not sure while the original file type won't work as it has worked before on my computer.

looks fantastic. Speaking of Jabberwocky, how's that coming along? It looks like a crazy, twisted, messed up ride and I love it. :)

Peregrine Falcon appeared in my park today. It gave me a chance to try out the wooden supports generator which has its flaws but is generally just as good as before. There won't be nearly as many supports needed when the final terrain is put in. It looks fairly innocuous and gently fast running but ride it and it's one of the most intense things out there. Seriously, it's non-stop rush. I've never needed to use trim brakes to keep a coaster in check before.

^ You didn't happen to use the "no lateral forces" button on track banking, did you?

I couldn't figure out why the ride looked relatively tame with the forces I was putting on the track until I got the idea of slightly underbanking a curve to give the illusion that the train was traveling faster than... uh... "planned". Anyway, I noticed that with a difference of just 8°, I was starting to get that... uhm.... "tail wiggle" that I was lacking. So I started fudging with all the high-banking nodes, offsetting some for underbanking, offsetting others for overbanking...

Oh.my.God! It makes a huge difference in the train's movement. The track's banking is.... what's the word..... It's the "thingy" that gives just the smallest amount of control over the pendulum axis so that you can manipulate, or 'set-up' the car for transitions. You know, the swingy bits! Like throwing something with one hand and catching it in the other. Who knew that banking on a suspended coaster actually contributed to something?

This!.... This is the stuff that separates Iron Dragon from Vortex.
I'll bet that with enough fine-tuning, I can make this train "float".
I love the Arrow Suspended coaster!

The very bottom of the track tab.
And, yes. This is the coaster I'm making with Knex. But NoLimits holds speed so much better than VV, so mine won't look too much like this one.
By the way, is anyone else having trouble with the video exporter? I'm only getting sound.

The video format is quick time player. If you have windows media player, it won't play the video except of rather sound. All you have to do is just download quick time player and install it and you should be ready to go.

I saw a video on youtube where the guy talked about a trigger for the coaches to start swinging. The guy is doing a series on NL and it's also on NLE if I'm correct. I couldn't be bothered to watch the entire video, but maybe you can find the answer there.

The hyper-suspended was causing more stress than I thought was necessary, so I took a break from it and tried my hand at an old-school woodie.

The colours seem to work very nicely on this. They suit the ride. I would've perhaps added a couple of high speed turns at the end but I guess that wouldn't be so old-school like this is.

I finished a couple of rides while home sick.

First, a B&M hyper styled after Diamondback. The drop ended up being way too steep and the train moves through the ride very slowly, but this was only my second ride made in No Limits 2.

Posted Image

Second, I made a RMC iron horse roller coaster. It features way to many overbanks, this meant I had to modify the supports to prevent the riders from being decapitated, just don't put your hands up.

Next, I will make a woodie version of the RMC.

^Nice work! Both seem extremely realistic, especially the RMC considering most tend to neglect supporting the inversions.

Hello all! So far I've completed 2 NL coasters, one on NL 1 (which I typically purchased just before the NL 2 announcement) and more recently an NL2 coaster.

Arrow Corkscrew Recreation

Nolimits Arrow Dynamics Corkscrew Recreation HD - YouTube

In order to 'get a grip' of Nolimits I created this standard Arrow Dynamics corkscrew. The most fun aspect of the build was manually placing the lift supports....

Bodacious - A Nolimits Timberliner

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDI1-dqJtY0

I was a bit more adventurous with this one. The intention was to create a Timberliner with an amalgamation of an out and back layout, and wooden twister elements. A few pacing problems, but overall, I'm content with how it turned out.

Hope you like them...:)
