Twister are you doing a park or judging? I am also trying to give
as much time as possible for the first round since it takes the longest. After that each
'year' should not take to long to build.
Millennium Man if the
park has not been released then yes, and if it follows all the guidelines, but I believe
Colonel Custard may take Six Flags since he replied about it first. If he doesn't
then you can have Six Flags. If you don't get Six Flags all you really have to do
is change some names and theming, fix the broken down rides, and clean all the paths.

month this game continues, we add on to the same park so what does it matter what
real world coaster company it is since we won't be making additional parks and
you don't have to theme the park like the company would.
Also, when
building a coaster and you say you get charged by the 'units', does that
mean you get charged for each track segment? What are the units?
Finally,
shouldn't the parks get points each year for how much money and/or guests they
attracted? I know you said the parks don't have to be peep friendly but you
people won't be able to build any cool coasters if they rely on awards for
money.

using a park chain and trying to theme it like real parks. This also gives you soemthing
to base your park off of. So if you are using Six Flags you might want to through in a
Batman The Ride or Superman Ultimate Flight, becasue they are very common in the
six flags chain. Units are how tall the coaster is. You can change it from real values to
the old RCT1 units by going into options. I think 2 Units equal 10 feet. The height of a
coaster will be from the lowest point of it to the hightest point. So something like Storm
Runner would be 180 feet or 36 units. If the game goes on long enough you will be
able to purchase a new map but the cost of that will be determined later in the game. I
really don't want to see someone building something like Superman the Escape
or TTD just to get the tallest and fastest coaster, but if they want to they can. Be
creative and try and be realistic with you coaster layouts, and think would I like to ride
this ride? There are only a few awards you can win by just throwing something into
the park, and the cost to get that awards might not be as great as the award. So you
are better off designing a MF and getting 30 points for the tallest, fastest, best steel,
and best overall coaster, instead of building a TTD and only getting 15 points, for
tallest and fastest. Something like a TTD and MF would also cost a lot of points, and
be careful or you will run out very quickly. You also don't want to be like six
flags and concentrate on building a crappy park with the most roller coasters because
the overall return will not be as good as building a nice park with a few good roller
coasters. Another thing is what happens if you and someone else try and build the
tallest and fastest and waste 40+ points on it. Only one of you will get the points,
unless there is a tie then it will be split. So you would be wasting almost all of your
points in the first month and have nothing to build off of the second month and you will
end up being like Six Flags and have no money.
Also I will be
changing the charts sometime before Friday. Im going to change it so something like
Wicked Twister only costs 10 points. Other things will also cost certain points for
certain types of rides.

didn't answer these 2 questions. You answered the first one vaguely. You
didn't specifically state that I had to have a park chain. Do I?

to theme it different go ahead, it isn't going to help or hurt your chances. Make
your chain some foreign one nobody knows that much about, you can also make a
chain from a one park company like Hershey, or Morey's Piers.
As
for the guests and money. It would be to hard to tell, and take to long. Their will be
plenty of awards, I am still looking for some suggestions, and their probably will be a
way that everyone will get some money each year.

some wustions though. if i make a 100ft coaster that was like 1000ft long would it
cost the same as a 100ft coaster that was 5000ft long?. does scenery cost anything?
also does the park have to be open or can it be closed? it would be easier to focus on
making quality rides and such without having guests every where. and what size map
do we start out with, or do you send us a map to use?

it is 256 but that is just so I will have plenty of room to expand over a long period of
time. I think that each year, every park will should get 1 point per ride in their park
and 2 for each coaster so you can make money in an off year where you might not
build big things. Also, there should be awards for the tallest inverted, stand-up,
floorless, flyer, wooden, etc.

friendly' meaning it does not have to be opened, however if you want to you can.
As for the length of the coaster it will cost the same if its the same height and the
same type no matter what the length. Im probably going to update the cost chart for
different types of rides, because an impulse can be 200ft high, but they only cost 8-9
million dollars in real life. As for the map size, I would recommend using a
75-150x75-150 any size in there should be large enough, but you can use any size map
you want, for instance Westside is using a 256x256 map. As for the awards, I am not
going to do each type, simply because there may only be one of each type in the first
few years, but I might use tallest/fastest Invert, and woodie because those two
categories can have large numbers in them.
