It has been 2 long years. Since then, my parents have opened up a gym, I have become an all honors students in 8th grade, and I'm dieing to build a new roller coaster. Some of you might remember me, but that might be a few now. I'm sorta ashamed that I haven't been building for so long, but I'm back at it!

Okay, so after day 1 (Yesterday) I have a lift:

My thumbs hurt so much!!
After the lift (Which finally works) I wanted to have an immelman that went to the opposite side of the motor, followed by a mirror image of the immelman.

I would make the transition from over vertical to vertical on the drop less sharp, other than that it looks good. Great to have you back. :)

I don't remember you on this site, but I only joined last year so welcome back! I really like the lift structure you have there, it's very clean looking. I would make the drop more realistic, but do what makes you happy! :)

I'm confused how you joined two years ago? It says you joined in February 2015. Anyway, I would make the drop less sharp like Josh Monster said, and get rid of the straight spot that follows it.

^ Must be a new account. I'm glad you're back, I still remember when you first started. :')
I would make the drop more like a intamin blitz coaster's drop, less steep and it holds the angle for longer if you are going for realistic purposes.

Here's some help. I can outline a better crest shape for you if you provide me with a straighter picture of the entire drop

PURPLE = Huge sharp spot
YELLOW=Move this section back one granite from the ORANGE section
RED= Better shape for the crest and drop
WHITE=Shape you should aim for

Thanks! I think I fixed it. I'm working on a serpants loop, if that's what it's called
EDIT: Cobra roll** does anyone have tutorials for it?

Building was slowed to a crawl due to weather and the Crossfit Open!
Anyways, I fixed the lift and finished the cobra roll, the car makes it through the cobra roll 50% of the time and I've already lubed the car with silicon grease, I probably don't need to weigh the car, yet.
Here's the lift:

The cobra roll:

And then I broke my 5th car....

Now the train makes it through 25% of the time, but I think I don't need to make the cobra roll lower.

Aha, I remember you. ;) So anyway, your c-roll should be more at like a 25* angle instead of completely vertical like you have it. This should save you some more speed and allow you to get it through more than 25% of the time. Here, I'll get an example:

That broken car could be fixed. Some hot glue and popscile sticks on the inside would work :D

As far as the Cobra goes, I would lessen the banking on the middle. Perhaps make the entry and exit smoother as well :P

Try to layer your grey rods and flexis, and if you can, don't use the ladders at all. Also, what I find best for broken cars, is the super glue that dries almost instantly is super strong. You won't need any popsicle sticks. My front car got smashed into about seven pieces, and the glue fixed it and you wouldn't know the difference.

This is what I use:

I think that you shouldn't use gray rods as flexis when you use ladders for splicing, that creates massive straight spots.

^I agree.
In the future I would recommend staggering the rods so they don't end at the same point and work on just removing the ladder connectors completely, it will really help make your rides smoother and help even out the track connector placement.

Okay, I redid both exits and it looks like a C instead of a E. I am working on the shaping of the middle of the cobra roll, so an update should be soon
