Okay, so I did a little digging on the site - and I found this:

If you look at the bottom of the lift, it looks like the chain comes straight to the bottom. I drew up a little doodle of how I think the chain would work best:

The green box is the motor, and the gears between the motor and the top gear is the potential tension gear - but I reckon it would work without making them tension gears.

Give it a go!

If you're ever looking for inspiration, search the model database! :P

Oh yeah, you don't need the tension gears, they just help.  You're trying to solve two independent problems really.

I like the video! I do wonder if you've lost much height from the lift to the 1st element though.. Also it looks like a completely new coaster?

Hmm, I'll leave further comment to when I see more pictures, you shouldn't lose so much speed so quickly, maybe there's some advice we can all offer :P

Ok thanks, I don’t think the speed loss is too bad or it’s just the angle. I haven’t and will lubricate my trains

Some people recommend Silicone spray, but I seem to remember graphite lubricants are quite effective too.

Whatever method of lubrication you choose, remember to clean your cars' axles and wheels. Lubing will help, but only if your wheels are clean, otherwise it could just slow them down further.

https://m.youtube.co...h?v=nXKDIeY95gc I hope this link works! I have done a lot on this coaster so far and is very near to being finished! I have also received some ball bearing cars from Johnny so I had to re do part of the track
